one of the local bands i loved while they were together here in dallas is "the bright", formerly known as "superstring". i'm a sucker for a slow song and this has one of my all time favorites in it. while getting to know the band i was allowed to go on stage for a show they did for us at my radio station and sing with julie.

i was terrified. not because i was singing in public - that was bad enough. but her range and power is phenomenal. i'm 10x her size and she's 100x my voice.
