Yup cause about 98% of the people that comments on this forum stayed Bashing Gregory, we got the threads to prove it...

Now look Our Best Pass rusher is coming back soon....
Man please....No one has bashed him. Moreso they (including me) have simply acknowledged that there was absolutely nothing to talk about regarding a Gregory that has done absolutely nothing to help the team. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Now there appears to "potentially" be some light at the end of an empty tunnel to this point. I'm rooting for his reinstatement especially given what Chris Carter has revealed to the general public. Everyone loves good comeback story (or in his case a finally arriving story) and Lord knows we need him.

Well, some people have been harsh on him calling him a drug addict and wanting to move on because Gregory isn’t worth the hassle.

Others have expressed doubt he will be any good following a 2 year absence because he really didn’t show anything in his 14 games he has played.

I have been wanting him to return since last year and have been raked over the coals because I provided information that TMZ reported he failed a test last year and, whether that is true or not, something is causing a delay in the filing because it should have been done already.

Of course, it appears if you don’t believe Greogry has been clean for 2 years and has done nothing but work hard to return then you’re bashing.

Wondering why he has waited 6 months (and counting daily); why he needs 2000 pages of documentation to show he has been clean for 2 years; and why he recently needed another stint in rehab/counseling is bashing.

I have been wanting Gregory to return, hopeful he has kicked his habit because he has talent. Learning that he needed rehab recently is making me reconsider. My confidence in him returning was pretty high. I thought it would be a slam dunk he got reinstated considering the Josh Gordon process, And I still think Gregory will get reinstated when he applies. I have lost all confidence that he will remain clean with this latest revelation, unless the NFL changes the rules on marijuana use.

He applied yesterday. Only thing holding it up was getting a lot of paperwork together giving him a better chance at being reinstated. I don’t know why you’re still posting about the TMZ article when it’s been refuted on here multiple times and Gregory hasn’t failed a test in almost 2 years

We don’t have to get into TMZ again.

However, you don’t think his recent stint in rehab was holding up the filing for reinstatement?

People always like to go to extremes man. It's hilarious. Let me give you some extreme narratives I have heard parroted over & over on this board in the last few months.

  • The team will suck without Dez.
  • The team doesn't know how to use Dez.
  • Dak sucks.
  • Dak will never connect with Dez because.. well.. Dak sucks.
  • Jaylon will never return to form.
  • Jaylon will never lose the AFO brace.
  • We should have never drafted Jaylon.
  • Mike White will beat Dak out and start this year.
  • The offense won't survive without Dez.
  • Rico is a lost cause.
  • Rico raps too much. (Meanwhile.. Beasley just put out a decent rap "album" and no one had issue with that..)

Feel free to add your own silly extreme narrative. I'm sure I missed a few.

It was tomorrow, yesterday. No wait, it's today and Friday, three days ago was Tuesday and yesterday was thursday. Now that "ive proven it's not a time warp, did Gregory or didn't he. Only his hair dresser knows for sure and apparently he tells Samuel L Jackson everything :muttley:

Bease should leave the rap label on. JJ is an old lizard who suns himself on the river bank. JG only knows how to clap. We should rush to judgement on Rush. Yeah Bleu, just adding to your list of over used jargon lol

Well I am sure some of our insiders will know the answer because they apparently have inside information nobody else is privy to.

As for the rest of us, we have to go on what is reported. I anticipate getting killed for this but the only thing I have found about him filing is this article:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...ys-de-randy-gregory-applies-for-reinstatement

However, the linked tweet the article references is from Ian Rapoport on Wednesday that Gregory was planning on filing for reinstatement on Thursday, not that he actually did file.

So, I am not sure because I can’t find anything other than that claiming he actually did file. But, again, I am sure our insiders will know the answer.
