David Irving?

Irving is a dead man walking just like Dez was after 2014...... they do not want a long term deal

If he has a great year they will tag him but they will not give him 40m guaranteed
 
D-Law has already said in no uncertain terms that he will do his best this year and let the chips fall where they may. If Dallas wants to sign him to a worthy contract they will and they should be able to afford it. He feels his performance will speak for itself. Sounds like he's just being realistic to me. Same goes for David Irving and the rest of 'em. ;)

Cowboys will have $72 million to spend at the end of this year, with Witten, Dez and others gone and Romo completely off the books.

Lawrence, Martin and Irving will eat a good chunk but the good thing is we likely won't have to backload any of them because we have all that space. Which will mean we'll have plenty of space when we have to re-sign Dak, Zeke, and the 2017 DB's.

Conduct detrimental to the league. Was on video in a hotel room with a perhaps lady of the evening? Holding a piece of pizza crust that looked a lot like a blunt, lol. And the chick was chopping up blow. He could suspend him for that pretty easily. They are wanting to clean up the league. He will likely be drug tested. If he fails and enters the program and it’s his first infraction for weed we may not even know about it unless its leaked.

It seems when goodell gets on a player they don’t let off. But him and Mara are great friends so he may slide by. What about sheli manning and his trouble?
 
Money is a great lure. Offer him enough and he signs. Irving has to prove himself for a full season. Dlaw has to prove he can do it twice. No need to rush.
 
You draft players and develop some and when they get good, they leave.

Irving will leave if he has a great year and follow hitchens lead. There's a small window to succeed before they get PAID, and you can't pay everyone.

Ok Glimm, his GF MAY be putting him through the ringer as you say BUT remember the Tweet from about a month ago where dear sweety got him a nice 3 some. Herpa derp Irving Tweeted that. At the least he makes very bad decisions, at the worst.... well, that's yet to be seen

but unless he pops hot for a UT it does not matter ... I saw the video and thyink he is a moron for letting the girl tape him. But if you suspend him , then Dak gets same treatment because he had a video holding a blunt/ cigar as well ... lets not forget the videos that are up and some removed of half-naked women. IMO neither should get suspended ... its just silly people are crying for OBJ to get it though.

They suspended Elliot for he said she said so anything is possible.

They should wait until he's rid of her otherwise she'll get a lot of that money. JMO, of course.

Agreed.. the other teams know this and that’s why I wondered if we could get him on the cheap. Lol. Just saying.

Elliot got screwed over some yes ... he was made an example of . He also did himself NO favors while being watched/ investigated. He was at the Pot shop , partying with Snoop , partying some more ... assaulting women in public, fighting at clubs .... coast guard raids boat party he was at . So if he does this while he knows he is being watched .... what does he do when he thinks no one is looking ?

I believe(?) since the Ray Rice incident, DV is now an automatic 6-game suspension.
