The Herd - Rating Dak

This is the type of naïve homer nonsense you see on this site. Its completely obvious that Garrappolo is a much more seasoned and better all around player at this time. Garrap will be one of the best QB's in the NFL going forward.
dont agree way too small of a sample size..hes done squat and if you call 7 games 7 tds and 6 ints seasoned..sure give him 28mil year for that LMAO..He could end up another Osweiler or a Joe montana at this point no one knows at all and hes not shown hes better than Dak because Daks started 2 full years, played well in playoff game won ROY and is 22-10 3-1 Td-int ratio and 65%CP etc etc..he had few bad games last year fell apart but as the Herd says stop just seeing those games..JG doesnt deserve to be spoken about as starter and a tier, hes not done one thing when its really counted, pressure on.. he had nothing to lose last year in SF and still 7td 6 picks thats not great bro.. he also needs a ton of seasoning.. lets see him start 32 games straight and see how his numbers play out

Oh I agree. Jimmy is a beast. But I am just speaking of what’s been proven.

That being said, jimmy also has several more years in the league than Dak. Being coached by Belichek and learning from Brady.

I know some posters on this site like to pretend that a QB sitting for several years and learning from the sidelines isn’t helpful to a QB *cough* Romo *cough*, but to me I think it’s obvious that it is very helpful to a QB.

Didn't hurt Aaron Rodgers either....

Isnt it miraculous that Dak had none of these issues the first 24 games of his career. How is it possible for you people NOT to understand what happened to the team in game #25 that changed everything. Its the most laughably obvious set of circumstances you could possibly have.

Regress? LOL Wow its like you people didn't even watch the games.
You people?? It didn't start at game 25 either that's BS. He was missing easy passes the entire season. Look I said that I want Dak to succeed but I'm not blind and neither is anyone else who pointed out his struggles. No one is fabricating them. They were real. It goes back to the frickin Pro Bowl. He looked like complete dog **** just trying to do the passing contest there. Then it carried over into the season.

Ugh!!

Are we just going to rewrite history?!

His "first 24 games" included horrible games against the Giants and Vikings in 2016 and some very mediocre games also.. not to mention the Denver debacle (in Wich Zeke played and Tyron was healthy)

This is why you guys can't be taken seriously...you're blinded by the Dak koolaid.

You guys act as if Dak turned into poo after the Zeke suspension and that is just not true !!

He showed signs of being a very flawed QB way back in 2016 and also early on in 2017... For example , the first game of the season against the Giants ..he was missing throws left and right .

So stop pushing that false narrative that Dak was flawless his first "24 games"

Colin cow turd is a sports shock jock...flavor of the day guy. He doesn't know what he's talkin about over 90 percent of the time. Waste of oxygen.

I know right.. lol...folks gotta stop reading too much into an innocent comment that gets said in May. lol...I'm still trying to understand how this is a negative...him saying he wants to be the best? I'm stunned folks wanna dissect this and make something bad out of it. Its plain dumb. Nothing to see here. Move along and get to steppin .lol

Dak first 24 games he was remarkable. The last eight he wasn't that good. The argument is soon to be decided.

what was the common theme/problem his last 8? Zeke gone and the oline banged up bad on the left side...and Dez checked out "mentally." Dak was playin chuck and duck ball those last 8 games. Had little choice.

LOL........you talk about Sample size yet you put more weight on 7 games with bad Oline play vs 24 games of incredible play as nothing.

I knew Dak was great when I saw him in preseason. I knew Romo was great in his first season. Any young QB needs seasoning.

Some fans know and some dont. What can I tell you. You want to nit pic, be my guest. We are lucky as heck to have Dak Prescott as a 4th round pick making 700k per year.

Despite those bad games in 2016, he won ROY. We really gonna be angry over a few bad games in a QB's rookie year?

2017, he had a bad run under incredible duress.

He's not proven yet, he's only entering year 3. I agree there. But you're off base in your very critical evaluation and you're placing too much significance on a small portion and ignoring all the good.

lets just take a step back and realize what Colin is all about. RATINGS monger at any cost. Don't go for the bait guys...its May. It doesn't make any sense to make a judgment now. Its very entertaining I suppose..but a waste of energy.

Nothing to prove in season 3 for Dak once again he has the luxury of Best Offlines and HB in the NFL and he will feed off that to try and get his new contract.
It will fall apart for him though as defenses will force him to win with his arm and he will fall flat on his face along with all our dreams for next season.

Tier 4 QB our Dak and Tim Tebow lives again.....

don't watch then. Why bother, right? Its a forgone conclusion. That 2016 rookie year never happened. Got it..thanks.

Bwaaaa!!! OK buddy. IN NFL history, Dak's first two years stack up to all the greats. Better in most cases.

Passing contest? ahahahahaha!!!! You mean rookie of the year contest? NFL MVP candidate rookie of the year contest?

The time is soon coming for you to crawl back under a rock. Dont worry, Ill be right there to laugh in your face when the time comes.

relax..its May. No one knows what will happen. Anything else is just a poor guess.
