Your Breakout Player not Named Mazi Smith or Tyler Guyton

Like the title says::If you say Guyton or Smith you're a smelly, illiterate moron.

Who is 1) the player you want to breakout?

2) Who do you think actually breaks out as a Cowboy either from being a backup to FA, UDFA or someone who isn't an obvious shoo in

I want Schoonmaker to breakout big time. I think this offensive personnel suits his style well and he also suits his teammates' potential well. If Schoonmaker played to his absolute ceiling, this offense could be deadly

I think Jayden Blue breaks out as a rookie 5th round pick. It's just all there. You don't have the size. But the speed, balance, and shiftiness is there. Guy is nimble like Achane.

I think Juanyeh Thomas breaks out. In some ways he reminds me of Bill Bates, hangs around and hustles himself into a starting job. Training at the NFL level could pay off for a guy who was already pretty athletically gifted. Just needed to train and hone in his instincts to the next level. I'm glad Eberflus seems to be giving him a shot.
Thomas is also my breakout defender, not sure if this qualifies, but think Ferguson has a monster season.

Well of course it's Mozzy or Guyton for me but that's not the question. How about Elam. We can use a solid CB this season

Sam Williams. His back is against the wall with his NFL career at stake. If he doesn't show anything this year, he's done. He has the talent. Last year was supposed to be his break out, but he got injured and missed the whole season.

Juanyeh Thomas at the slot corner position, this would be huge if he could take command here and be the starter.

I mean, he had a down year last year. I've read that he hasn't fully recovered from his concussion. So yeah.

I’m hoping it’s Blue because that’s what the offense needs the most.

I don’t expect Mazi or Guyton to surprise anyone this year.

I don’t think this fan base will ever truly be happy with what Blue could potentially be.

When Tony Pollard was the clear dominant force at tailback half this fan base insisted we still need to run Zeke and do his cloud of dust dance for us more than Pollard.

Blue is hopefully going to give you what Gibbs does. He may never reach Gibbs production but he should be a dangerous weapon for this offense.

I think he might benefit the most with the addition of Pickens as teams will no longer look to double him.

Cowboys offense should be really good if we can establish the run.

Run the ball, hope the defense plays man & blitzes, look for Lamb, if covered then throw the deep outlet ball to Pickens or Mingo/Tolbert.

It should be there all day.

The key is running the ball.

Agree with all of your candidates and would love to add Span-Ford to the TE room considerations.

Ferg
Schoon
Ford

I believe we are in a very good position to have some excellent quality TE depth which is rare for the majority of the rosters in today's NFL.

Brandon Aubrey. He's been slacking. Missed that record-setting field goal badly.

Pickens addition elevates the receiving options significantly.
Looking forward to seeing Turpin running more in space now.

Spann-Ford and Toia I think will be much better than anticipated.
I don't think rookies get in this conversation because they're rookies I think it's people who have had down years and that are on the bubble that you're hoping that they bounce back that would be having a breakout...

Why would anyone vote for Mazi as breakout player of the year ?
