The High Jump

Notice how the cat didn't jump straight to the top. His feet make contact with the door right before the knob. After his initial jump he pushes off and up
again. Just enough to make it to the top. Truly amazing.
I first learned this technique while reading a Batman Detective comic. As a kid I used it once to jump up about 15' to a roof edge. I impressed my friends at the time. Of course unlike the cat I had a running start, jumped as high as I could, let my feet hit the wall an sort of pushed off and up. Like a cat lol.
