Top 5? I’d go with Emmitt then Dorset and then who cares. I say this mainly because of how great and how long Emmitt and Dorsett were able to play versus the rest.

Calvin Hill was a 4 time pro-bowler and 1 time all-pro and ranks 4th all time in rushing yards for the Cowboys.

Don Perkins was a 6 time pro-bowler and 1 time all-pro and ranks 3rd all time in rushing yards for the Cowboys.

Smith and Dorsett definitely are head and shoulders above the rest of the running backs in team history. Heck, they are also head and shoulders above most of the running backs who ever played in the NFL. Hill and Perkins were very good. Any franchise would be lucky to have them.
