Kris Richard coaching up DB's

Woah now, we didnt see this at all times with the secondary coaches..This is his way of evaluating the cbs to see where they are for coaching...i like him but this is the new sheriff in town skit!
Thank God CZ has football geniuses, like you, to tell everyone that they know nothing about football :starspin:such invaluable insight

Well if you didn’t open your trap and say something as foolish as you did based off a 10 second clip from OTAs with guys in T-shirt’s and shorts, you would’ve gotten the invaluable insight:thumbup:

I guess the reason he's been 5 yards behind his man and continually playing catch up for the last 3 seasons of regular season games is pretty simple.. they've been playing zone that entire time. How could such a simplistic mind like mine never see that?!

You haven’t seen him 5 yards behind his man continually either , that’s an exaggeration or your simplistic mind is playing tricks on you.

I really think Chido n JD will be good CBs no matter who th DB coach is. Let's see if AB, Kavon, X, Heath, an Byron get better... than KR may deserve to be showered w/ anointing oil.

Definitely like th Coach, but ain't no pads an ain't no games been played. Also, a DB coach can drill getting your head around, but players revert to instincts sometimes. Or maybe these guys are out of phase most the time.

Hey man, it's a theme that fits my narrative lol. If I admitted that Jones isn't ALWAYS lost on the field, it wouldn't gel with my idea of how much I think he sucks ;)

It is possible I am over-reacting a little in the search for any kind of change................but...................the Kris Richard hire has been one of the most exciting coaching hires for me in a long time.

I absolutly agree...its very exciting and its a move that could set us up for our next big coaching move....once marenlli retires i think Richard makes a perfect choice for our next coordinator. I just hope if we swap Garrett between now and then that the next coach sees Richard as the same....

...I actually think this defense may end up being very good in 2018...so I'll assume that when the Boys score 28 or more points this season, they'll have a good chance of winning the game.

It really sounds like Kris Richard isn't at all shy about being aggressive and highly vocal with his players. I think that is something that our players have sorely needed. Evidently, they weren't afforded that level of leadership in the past.

It also seems we'll have a receiver corps that generally will be more open to their coaching when it comes to running precise routes. It seems Sanjay Lal should prove himself to be a big step up from his predecessor.
