First, Tyron Smith and Zack Martin are both the best at their respective positions in the NFL. That means something. When Smith is right, he is easily one of the three best linemen in all of football. As for Martin, in four years, he’s been to four Pro-Bowl’s and been chosen as an All-Pro twice.

Frederick is also one of the top four or five centers in the NFL, bolstered by four Pro-Bowl selections as well as 2016’s All-Pro nomination. With Williams and Collins rounding out the starting five, this is one of the two or three best groups, hands down.

The other reason for their gold medal is performance. Over the last five years, Cowboys’ quarterbacks have been sacked less than 30 times each season. As for the running backs, two have led the entire league in rushing. If not for a six game suspension to Elliott, that likely would have been three. Also due to Elliott’s suspension, he missed the 1,000 yard plateau by just 17 yards. Had he hit that, the Dallas Cowboys would have had five straight 1,000+ yard rushers with three different backs.

If a strong entrance into the playoffs occurs this season...this is the group that will drive the entrance.

The reason for the Division's importance, is that Philadelphia has nearly as good an offensive line...and the Cowboys must surpass them into the playoffs.

The test is our skill positions. I'm so up seeing the 'fix it' emanating from the FO and coaching.
It's going to be a exciting year regardless of the 10-6 record this year.
