Odd we picked him unless it was BPA in the 7th. From the buzz around him you would think he was a late first round pick. Lol. Log jam of talent on RB position. Rod is almost a lock. Bo will have to kill it. And everyone’s hero Jackson is back. Can’t keep them all and I don’t see any of them making the PS before getting poached. All this talent I wonder if they are afraid Elliot can’t stay out of trouble. Lol.

Yeah, they brought Jackson in after the draft, and I agree that they might have concerns about Elliott, because the Cowboys are loaded. Hell, take Zeke out and IMO the group of Smith, Bo, Austin and Jackson, with that OL, is still better than some teams!

We took Bo in the 7th. No one took him before us. I don't see a long line for him or Jackson to put on a 53. We cut both and take our chances to get them back on the PS. If we lose one, we've got the other.

Every team has players they liked better in the 6th and 7th, who they're cutting and hoping to get back on their practice squads.

I see Bo making the 53 man roster. But in order for him to suit up each Sunday, he'll need to contribute on special teams.

He'll be fun to watch in preseason, but I bet he's ticketed for the practice squad.
I don't think so. Dallas doesn't have another back like him. That big, that physical, and that mean,he'll make the 53. He'll play and he will force a lot of defensive people to make a lot of business decisions.

I dunno, Alabama players just never seems to make it in the NFL (a small handful are OK)...different "rules" in college in the SEC? you know, like they can't take the same vitamins in the NFL that they likely feed those dummies from the SEC (most interviews you can't tell that they have an education)....I am hopeful for this guy, but thought it REALLY curious why no NFL teams wanted him in the first 6 rounds? this looks like a version of what Dallas normally does with 2nd round picks - take a chance and see what happens - not a bad move fo the 7th round

then go Bo....lets not forget about darius Jackson...

with that said, I still don't see Bo as a shoe in for the 53....
Definitely not a shoe in. Actually gonna be hard for him. I think the staff likes Jackson and that’s why he was brought back. BO could get poached if shows something in preseason. Jackson has already been poached before but I think he got injured or he would likely be on another team still.

Easy. He was a part time RB in college w/ injury issues. Highly unlikely he'll be a bellcow. Teams are looking for starters, not rotational players in the early rounds.

Depends on what he shows in the preseason.

Bo is amazingly quick to and through the hole for a big guy. If he explodes through the hole as if appears he may be able to, forget PS if we want to keep him.

It’s the injuries that are concerning. We have Jackson and Rod that is proven backup quality. If Bo is better than them will they chance the injury factor. I am guessing so since they drafted him.

why is he all of the sudden the fan darling.... last year it was Smith and as far as I know he is still here and he is biger, faster and can catch better. and then the fans loved Darius Jackson two years ago, he was the fan darling..... and now he is back with the team, is he yesterday's news.?

I am not so sure scarbrough makes the team...he doesn't have a lot of wiggle. he can't catch out of the back field, he is not fast, he can run up the middle and get some tough yards....why does everyone think he is so special? I don't see anything special
He looks like a more athletic Brandon Jacobs to me

True. At Alabama, they let them take Basketweaving and Badminton.
