Let's try to put all the jokes aside. The Cowboys were preparing all along as if Gregory would not be here. Now that he is, it's almost like getting a bonus draft pick since he really hasn't played much for them at all.

Gregory still has a lot to prove on and off the field, but his talent is undeniable. None of us know the real story behind his substance abuse problem; so I refuse to call him "stupid" or a "weed head" or any other names he's been given here already.

Personally, I am rooting for this guy because from what I have read online, he's overcome a lot to get himself back to this point. If playing for the Cowboys wasn't important to Gregory he wouldn't have bothered trying to get reinstated.

Nobody knows if he will be any good on the field. Nobody knows if he will get suspended again. But as of today, right now, the Cowboys just got at least a little bit deeper at defensive end. That's a good thing.

NFL does this pot thing to themselves. Even most doctors don’t give a hoot about using it in a reasonable fashion, and the swing in that direction in medicine is only gaining momentum.
