Norah Jones is riding the train in the rain, on the way to see my wife, as she prays that I can get sober and just be good. Just be willing to get past all the baggage. Riding the train, during all that beautiful rain, as I contemplate my future, and whether I give a **** or not.

I wish I woulda listened to Norah.

You guys gotta remember, most of these grunge singers/bands were heavily, HEAVILY influenced by My Bloody Valentine. PJ not excluded. Hell, Nirvana drew influence from MBV

Lo-fi, shoegaze, reverb, raunchy grunge

My Bloody Valentine, Nirvana, and Radiohead shaped 90's music. None of them singularly. Yet all of them singularly, stylistically

Kid A and OK Computer continue to shape music. Nirvana and MBV not so much. But they killed the 80's music anthemic scene. MBV's impact on music is still felt, whereas Nirvana is mostly used as a motivation and standard. Radiohead is still trying to be replicated, of the three, it isn't close for music today, Radiohead is still being replicated, yet never touched in their brilliance
