I agree 100% but on top of that I see a rapid decline in critical thinking.More and more people are driven by impulse.
Quite true. My sister in law is an English/Lit professor in a medical college. She says it's a passive learning environment for a lot of students - this is not just a trend.

Seems like the second time a top receiver has gone after GARRETT'S BOYS, with the first being TO about Romo and Witt, (Garrett's boys on offense) and now Dez about Lee & Fredricks. One thing in common here, Jason Garrett. The true cancer of the Dallas Cowboys and since this idiot arrived, we've been failures.

Give TO credit tho, he called out most of his former teams.

I'm not gonna diss Dez for these comments at all. Dez played with more heart than anybody on the team since he got there. He bailed that team out of so many situations I can't even count.

Maybe hard to believe but a lot of young players ( especially African Amer ) looked up to him. How much trust does Lee with teammates after Dez comment? Just to be clear, I certainly don't agree with Dez comments regarding Lee but that besides the point. The question is there any damage in the locker room from the comment......
Sounds like that is what Lee was trying to get Dez to live up to and he wasn't. Leadership is about holding people accountable and Lee is doing that. If guys don't want to follow that then what are they following?

Dez looks like a baby in all of this but there was one nugget of truth in what he said. We lined up in 11 or 12 personnel 75% of the time in 2017 (759 of 1,007 offensive snaps). We ran 0 snaps out of the 10 personnel which seems to finally be coming back so far this TC.

I know Linehan refused to comment, but we kinda did line up in the same place for 17 weeks. I think this issue has been put in the forefront so much at this point that Linehan has to be extremely conscious about it. Heck, maybe Dez's public remarks make it more of a story and put him under more pressure to diversify the personnel groupings.

Well that's a little harsh, but yeah
Maybe. Most people have feeling when they get fired and that's really what happened to Dez. What does seem true is that Dez has a dissonance between how he views himself and his actual performance, so instead of evaluating himself and what he needs to improve, in his mind, he was cut for social reasons.

That's pretty normal at any organization, and Lee is basically saying exactly this.

Wrong. The plays got simple once Romo left. Romo was the one running that offense, once he left you saw how everyone's production went down. Not just Dez.
Dez has been running the same limited route tree since High School. The plays for him have been simple since he's been on a football field because he was a physical specimen. Romo's maturity in the league and experience probably made it worse cause Dez had a guy who could manipulate matchups that allowed Dez the one on one and jumpball opportunities he needs to be successful. Maybe the coaches didn't teach him how to run routes or maybe he was so comfortable with his athletic traits that he didn't bother learning them, but the result is the same. Dez can only run two maybe three routes and can no longer win with pure athleticism.

Romo made it super easy for Dez and spoiled him. Neither Dez nor the coaching staff had the foresight to fix that and that's why Dez will be one of those WR's who wont play much past 30.
