Terrell Owens represents the Eagles in the Hall of Fame program

Terrell Owens may not be going to Canton for his Hall of Fame enshrinement this weekend, but he seems to have chosen the Philadelphia Eagles as the team he wants to enter the Hall with Saturday night. On the Pro Football Hall of Fame official program, Owens is seen wearing a Philadelphia Eagles jersey over the San Francisco 49ers (where he spent eight seasons with) and the Dallas Cowboys (where he had three Pro Bowl seasons after his controversial exit after Philadelphia).

Owens spent two years in Philadelphia and led the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance in 2004, a season which he had 77 catches for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns in just 14 games. He had nine catches for 122 yards coming off a broken ankle in Super Bowl XXXIX.

Owens has even honored by Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie after getting the call to go to the Hall of Fame.

The Cowboys’ status as America’s Team leads fans of other teams to look for any and all slights to try and knock the luster from their aura. Because of past transgressions, fans are quick to point to the Cowboys as the model franchise of lawlessness. This is even more true when it comes to fans of the rival NFC East teams, specifically the Eagles community. Recent data shows those fans should probably simmer down and keep their mouths quiet

Pretty sure you or someone else counted and the difference was by one arrest IIRC. Then 2 or 3 cowboys were arrested this offseason including the greatest one of them all Terrence Williams.

In my local hat shop at the mall I was going to get the dawkins HoF hat. Didn't come in Broncos colors, just Philly. in fact, I saw the Kramer Packers one, the Urlakkerzzz Bears one, the Moss Vikings one, and the Lewis Ravens one. No alternatives.
