This is true. I think pricing has a lot to do with that too. As much as I love the cowboys and I usually go to see them when they are here in Philly. It’s tough to spend the scratch on going to a game live when the team isn’t good. Not when you can watch at home. Hell nowadays you can practically buy a 60” HDTV for the cost of going to a game between tickets, parking, concessions, etc.

I only watch Cowboy games on TV from my couch. And I will admit I would prefer watching road games just because I know the Cowboys have a better chance of winning.

Jerryworld was built as an entertainment building rather than a football stadium with home field advantage in mind.

I love the new stadium. I make a few games a year in Dallas, when they play in Buffalo, Philly and NY. I guess I don't really think about where they play. I do think the new stadium is worth going to see games regardless of how well the team plays. That being said, sometimes it's nice to watch games in your home. Depending on your seats, there are times you see more of what's going on.

Crowd noise is lame. Has been lame for as long as I can remember. I went to 3 games at Texas stadium. Was told by people that worked there I had to sit down because the people behind me complained I was standing and cheering. Cowboys fans are lame when it comes to crowd noise. I don't see how this can be blamed on Jerryworld. In fact I would say Jerryworld is louder than Texas Stadium was. I'm sure back on the 90s when the Boys were good that stadium was loud. Jerryworld hasn't had a team that's great for the crowd to get rowdy over. Plus let's be real crowd noise is overrated when it comes to home field advantage. We as fans like to think it makes a huge difference. But if your team sucks and you have the loudest home crowd ever l, your team still sucks.

I refuse to blame a building. Cowboys stadium field is the same measurement as any field in the NFL. It comes down to player and coaches going out and winning games. Crowd noise clearly can be a factor but it falls to players to give fans something to cheer about.

This is mainly on the fans, they're too nice. If you go to an opposing teams home in your team colors or cheer the other team, you should feel uncomfortable, nothing violent, but you should be at least heckled a little.

Thats the problem. Our fan base are mostly a bunch of clueless, happy go lucky, sunday funday types. And the HC is a turd so he simply pats fannies at home games expecting them to be grown men and come out and fight hard.

I've only had the chance to go to one game seeing as I don't live in the area but it was rather quiet. I wasn't asked to sit down and stop cheering though. The people in front of me didn't move at all during the game or cheer or really make a single noise. The Seahawks fans were making about as much noise as the Cowboys fan which really saddened me. Maybe if we won another Super Bowl it'd get some people back into it though from what I hear Texas Stadium was never real loud either.
