He's missing the ability to play.

We could use some vet help at safety.

In 2015 Cowboys had Carr with 4 years experience and Church with 5 years experience at the safety spots. Result? 17th ranked defense.

And how did Carr and Church get to have that experience? By playing as rookies or 2nd year guys.

Can't assume that just because one of your safeties is "experienced" he's automatically better than what you have or that he will/can be a defensive backfield safety.

Golden played in 125 games and had 84 tackles, 7 passes defended and 2 ints. Some "experience".

But I get it, every NFL vet that is released automatically is somebody the Cowboys have to get
