Tony Romo A Football Life

Looking forward to it.
But it seems a bit soon.

Quality wise...I guess if you look at some others on that list (Carson Palmer, Doug Williams, Chris Collingsworth, Dwight Clark) its not too surprising.

They can’t all be Lawrence Taylors

I think he was worth an episode.

Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former undrafted free agent from Tinytown, Wisconsin, now, about to become the next great QB of America's Team. It looks like a mirac---he just fumbled the snap! He fumbled the snap! He just got tackled! Martin Gramatica didn't make the block! The game is over!

There is plenty of tragedy and pathos in his career there to fill an entire series of episodes.

I’m not surprised they are doing one for Tony, but I am surprised how fast.

One thing’s for sure: Tony Romo certainly has one of the best NFL rags to riches stories in league history. Should be a great episode.
Agreed 100%. It’s a feel good story. Wish it ended In a. Super bowl but it’s still a great story. Undrafted qb to all time leader in most cowboys qb categories

Next week: "Leighton Vander Esch: Road to Canton"

Both are way too soon.

Don't think it's too early at all. He's been a national celebrity for years, and now he's grown even bigger as the best anylyst in the game in just one season.

Jerry you're right.....you did screw up big time!!

Rarely do you see a player as polarizing as Romo. He divided Cowboys fans the way the Cowboys themselves divide NFL fans- you either loved him or hated him.

Not surprised he got an episode so quick. Should be a good one.

Caesar Romo, with Jerry playing the role as Brutus.
In this case, Caesar does not question Brutus. He just takes the money and is okay with slowly bleeding to death.

I firmly believe that if Romo had a few temper tantrums along the way, there might have been a stronger sense of urgency to change how things were done on a number of fronts. You see stronger personalities like Manning, Brady, Roethlisberger etc. virtually running front offices. In Dallas, it was about making things "friendly" for him and he seemed okay with whatever the front office did. Problem is, nobody figured out it was a running game and OL until it was too late.

Bob...I’m guessing the quick turnaround on Tony’s AFL episode is correlated to pumping up his still-new commentator gig.

indeed mate. Tony for being a undrafted nobody and become one of the best QB's to ever wear the star. Is saying something big. Good on him.

In my book, until the Cowboys return to a championship game, Jerry is still on the “screw up” clock!

Isn't Doug Williams the comedian that Jamie Foxx ruined his career at the Emmitt Smith roast

That was the problem with Romo. He was a good guy but never really called anyone out for a bad play. It rubbed off with some players also.
