Until the league announces something, it's all conjecture. Best to just wait.

As for the roster, they need to go long on D-lineman since Gregory is sitting on the knife's edge. Even if these rumors amount to nothing.

The Jones' are right....this is a day to day thing with this guy.

Just asking but how can he appeal anything until he is charged with doing something?? Just like all the other players like Eldeman was suspended then he could make an appeal against the failed test

The league sends the player and team a note indicating that a suspension is forthcoming. Per the CBA, they have appeal rights. This is noted in the letter sent to the player/team. The CBA indicates that the process is to remain confidential up until the suspension is executed, meaning that the appeal process has been completed.

In the Edelman case, someone leaked the fact that he was due to be suspended prior to the appeal process being completed. It was done anonymously. For all we know, it could have come from someone in Edelman's camp. Either way, the league and team reps are not authorized to speak about this until the process is complete.

It's probably nothing. To bad the league didn't mandate that when a player is suspended he must remain a part of the team and participate in team actives, except practice and games...

If this is true, he has to be one of the biggest morons the Cowboys have ever signed.

Oh Ok I understand thanks I do have to ask Do you think that they would have him practicing with the ones if they thought he would be suspended?

There is no way they will discipline him because his babysitter didn’t know where he was for a few hours. Just drug test him and if he is clean he wasn’t doing anything wrong. End of story.
