Gregory in trouble? **merged**

Idk. The Fact that it’s a meeting with a doctor tells me
It’s not a failed test. A failed test wouldn’t require a meeting with a doctor.

This sounds more like it was a condition of his reinstatement from the get go.

I could be wrong though.
No way it's a failed drug test. If it was then it happened after he was reinstated but that can't be true because he has a mentor that stays with him everywhere he goes and is his roommate.

What the heck? Why meet with a league doctor and why would that determine if he gets suspended or not??

there was something a few sports radio hosts said that the players could trade with the owner for pot use? forgot what that was...

Keyword is scheduled. This isn’t a surprise visit or test because they think he relapsed.

Either way, we’ll see if he stayed clean or not.

Anything we get from him is gravy anyways..so hey, whatever. Its a loss if he gets suspended, but not the end of the world.

I consider it a huge loss if he's suspended again. In two weeks time, he's not only shown that he's ready to play, but he's seized the RDE position. So much so that Crawford was moved back inside.

They’re just checking to make sure that he’s not using again.

Anyone who thought the league wouldn’t be drug testing him and checking on his mental state, isn’t thinking things through.

No. This doesn't sound like a "business as usual" move at all.

Sounds like standard protocol for someone in the program he is in.

Not to me it doesn't.

It sounds more like a follow-up to his having gone AWOL from his requirements they other day.

As in now the league will subject him to an immediate test to make sure he didn't use while he disappeared, under a doctor's direct supervision. And if he fails it, he's done.

Based on the tweet above regarding the league policy on substance abuse it appears this is typical and it may appear JJT is a douchenozzle.

You would have to show me where it's "typical" that a player's fate is decided by one "special meeting" just before the season starts. If you can do that, I'll accept your "league policy" theory.
