Gregory in trouble? **merged**

He's already gone through that process. And people should know that. He's already participated in both practices and games. This is obviously something different.

Actually, suspended players CAN play in the preseason. It's the regular season that counts in terms of suspensions.

I understand what you're saying, but the fact is, Randy has already participated in contact drills and games (preseason). That being the case, he would have already had to have seen a league Dr. in order to be able to do those things. So why would he need to see a Dr. again? On one hand, this seems like nothing, but on the other, it seems like something...this seems strange to me.
He has to see the doctor again most likely because they will review how things went for the past 4-6 weeks. Did it go great? Did he have problems? Did he relapse? Why did he go AWOL?

Based on all this and more, the doctor will decide if he is ready to handle 16 regular season games. That's what this meeting is about.

If found guilty of anything, Randy has to be the stupidest player ever to have played for the Star

What’s up with the font?

You think you’re better than us?
Me sorry. :( I was going for dramatic effect!!!

You may be correct, and I hope you are.

If he knows something then why so ominous? Out with it man. It’s not over a failed drug test, I doubt they would set up a meeting for that. Is it because he went to do something for a couple of hours. Does this grown man have to have someone up his behind 24/7. What about when he sleeps or poo? What if he would like a unsupervised visit with his kid. It’s the NFL not the feds.

It sounds to me that this is likely an extra meeting scheduled after his awol incident. It all comes down to whether he disappeared in order to puff puff give or did nothing of consequence.

Exactly right.

"You screwed up Randy, so now you have to take a special doctor administered test to make sure you didn't relapse while you disappeared."

"If you pass, you get off with a warning not to do it again and have a great season. If you fail, it's all over."

This whole situation is pretty weird. He was conditionally reinstated and this would be a normal part of that process. What makes it confusing is it was reported shortly after Gregory was "fully" reinstated. It seems to me that he wasn't "fully" reinstated last month, but had met the conditions to be able to participate in training camp and preseason games. Now he needs to be cleared for the regular season.
