Tony Romo will always be a member of the Dallas Cowboys family, despite him entering his second season in the booth with CBS Sports. His reputation as a broadcaster has grown exponentially from the thought he might be good at it, to confirmation once he started predicting plays based on offensive and defensive formations. No broadcaster was doing that before Romo put on the microphone.

His reputation as a clairvoyant led USA Today Sports Pulse to ask him to predict a few things about the 2018. Once the conversation turned to the Cowboys upcoming season, here’s what the franchise’s all-time passing leader had to say.

The season comes down to health on offense. If Dak, Zeke, any starting OL go down— we are compromised in a really significant way.

The defense does look promising— but we have not been “dominant” on that side of the ball in a really long time.

If the D plays to it’s ceiling— and our offense stays healthy— we could indeed hit double digit wins. This team is set up to peak late. If we are 7-5 or better as we head into Dec— we can hit the stretch run playing our best ball and head into the playoff as a very hot team.

Possibly the best pair of defensive ends the team has ever had. Possibly.

I have 0 faith that the coaching staff knows how to utilize said guys and more importantly has the imagination needed to use said talent.

Rod has gotten mediocre DE's to perform since he has gotten here. He is respected around the league for coaching the dline.
