Going with 2 running backs, on a run based offense is dumb. Just plain dumb.

If Zeke or Rod get injured they are in big trouble.

Bo or Darius better be on the PS.

Don’t worry, we are going to pick someone up.

How is it dumb? We routinely dress 2 tailback. Whether #3 is on the 53 or PS makes no difference.

They’re called injuries. Zeke or Rod get hurt and you have either a midget or a fullback carrying out of the backfield. On a team that relies heavily on running.

It’s as if this coaching staff is allergic to having quality depth on the team.

It's as if people don't understand how valuable QBs are in this league. Cowboys weren't the only team interested in developing that kid.
He’s looked fine to me considering what he’s been playing with. Terrible backup OL and backup WR’s and these TE’s are a joke.

Remember that if they keep Datone Jones on the 53, he will likely go on IR, opening up a spot. Similar situation with Frederick if they decide to go IR there as well. Could have 2 roster spots available tomorrow.

I personally think this is a bad move...need 3 rbs the way we run the ball....unless they are considering Austin as the third
Olawale can play RB.
Both those guys are practice squad eligible and they could possibly pick up Donnel Pumphrey.

Please again explain to me how that differs if the depth comes from the 53 or the PS?

3rd RB would be inactive on gameday. You can't use the player either way.

I said in my original post that one of them needs to be on the practice squad.

If you want an explanation, try reading.
