Unveiling the new offense against unsuspecting Carolina

Yet Beasley and Williams are still here. Beasley got open fine until they used bracket coverage on him.

In fairness to Dez it is probably likely that we didn't have the best receiver coaches in the league. On the other hand, it sure doesn't seem like Dez listened to coaching anyway based on the tv series, and he doesn't seem to have discovered that the entire league thinks he needs to hone his craft. That fact is lost on him.

Dez realized he wasn't getting the right coaching with the Dallas Cowboys so he seeked out a specialist this offseason.

It's not Dez's fault the Cowboys had bad coaching. He shouldn't have to go out of his way to find a specialist. That's ridiculous. The Cowboys failed him.. They failed him with coaching in practice and they failed him with scheme in game.

I firmly believe that absolutely no one in sports related media, and a very large percentage of posters here actually realize how effective this teams pass rush will be out of the gate, game 1, and I don't believe that Carolina really has a clue.
Now our offense may not be as effective, but they wont have to be,,, this D is going to bring some slobber knocking hits.

I am not sure about that but I did and still do like Dez. I think he is a special talent but the talent was not worth the money from the FO's point of view. Just repeating the obvious.

When he goes to another team and has the same issues, we will know it was not the coaching. If you want to improve on your game, there are alot of other resources out there besides a coach. I am not disagreeing about the coaching, I am saying there is more than one lane to take on a 4 lane highway.

I was in agreement about the money until I saw what Sammy Watkins got paid.

Dez in an awful awful year for his standard had 70, 850, and 6 TD's. That's with a QB who isn't the greatest of passers and a horrible offensive scheme that they admittedly want to try and be more dynamic with their players.

Route guru isn't going to fix his attitude towards football or making an effort when he's not getting the ball.
He seriously needs to be working with a therapist getting some mental health issues taken care of. He mentioned it several times over the past few years and even mentioned he needs to get himself right multiple times this offseason on Twitter. Hopefully professional counseling is part of that process. That would help him the most right now.

Well Romo was still a gunslinger in his later years. Dak doesn't throw 50/50 balls as much because he's more interested in protecting the football than making risky throws. Dez is a QB killer.
How dis that work out? He had Witten, TO and Bryant in their primes. 2 HOFers.
I don't think protecting the ball is anything negative. In fact it's much less heartbreaking.

As long as it took him to get batty it would take just as long, if not longer to get right.

I actually think like Dak, Romo had a worse QB rating when throwing to Dez than any other receiver, even with all the TDs. He simply doesn't produce like a #1 WR should and it would seem the rest of the NFL sees it too. Although it sounds like some fans only saw the flashy plays and the TDs because some of them can't understand why he's unemployed right now.

Dez never worked out with a specialist. He only said he intended to work out with one.

They just don't want to see it.

So instead of a Vanilla offense it will be Vanilla Bean Offense, see change...

I don't know if he did or didn't. But he was scheduled to this offseason and evidently the Cowboys hated the idea of it.

They hated all of his idea's but yet they changed receiver coaches and supposedly want to be more dynamic in their scheme.

Dez was done dirty by the Cowboys. He's one of the best WR's in our franchises history and he was not treated right by the team. He would've played for next to nothing if they would just let him. He wants to be a Cowboy and the team let him down.

They didn't even offer him a paycut. That's whats disgusting. They can keep crappy Garrett and Linehan but we get rid of our Sunday Warrior. Unbelievable.

Nothing against Allen Hurns either but we could've probably kept Dez for Hurns money.
