Dak wasn't that good last night **merged**

does the squirrel actually remember where he buried the nut, or is he able to smell the nut? or as long as he finds the nut, does it really matter. as long as dak turns into a good qb, we're still a winner.

AUSTIN POWERS: Universal randomness is my bag, man.

They are still crying in their pillow that Romo broke his back and quit on them. And then they are soooo pissed that a 4th round pick QB won rookie of the year. What a streak of bad luck for us. LOL
Right..... It’s sad. Who gets upset at a string of circumstances like this? These idiots act as if Dak was supposed to say “No. I’m not ready. Let Romo take over” after such a wonderful start to his career. How can these clowns really be so mad at Dak after he saved our season from disaster? Seriously though I can only think of a couple of reasons why any true fan of the Cowboys would be so upset. And those reasons aren’t good ones. Ya know?

I'd be dumping on the special teams for allowing the onsides kick recovery and Garrett for putting the defense in 'prevent' mode - when all that has usually prevented... was winning.

Why the heck do you dump the defensive scheme that got you in position to win the game when you near you're coaching objective... the win?

I HATE PREVENT DEFENSE.

Our franchise guy breaks his back and somehow the 4th round pick QB wins 11 games in a row and wins rookie of the year. Worst thing that ever happened right?

Okay, I'm open to your plan. How do you plan to get one of the top two draft picks next year? Or what quarterback is available that is a guaranteed better quarterback than Dak? As you said yourself, trade for a back up you THINK can be a starter. What if you think wrong?

Just saying either way you go, there's a risk. To me it comes down to not making a decision based on 2 years of playing time for Dak, playing musical quarterbacks every two years doesn't seem like a recipe for success. Cowboys picked up Cassell, Weeden, etc. What gives you confidence that Jerry, et al will make a good selection?

I've seen enough of Dak to believe he can be good enough for this team, IF Zeke stays healthy, the line gels and the defense continues to improve. Obviously you don't think so, and that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion. But then so is CowboyRoy, and myself. I'll be the first to say I was wrong if Dak never gets much better. But wanting to stick with a guy who led a team to a 13-3 record for ONE more year doesn't make them a coward...

Plan is to draft Tom Brady in the first round next year and he will be in his prime immediately. LOL

FYI...…….better cut Zeke and get a RB too because Zeke has regressed also.

As I said I've lived here all my life, I listen to 980 the Commanders network everyday. It's been talked about at nauseam, we're going to have to agree to disagree.
I live in the same area, listen to 980 everyday because that's all that's worth listening and cuss at the Commanders all the way...czabe is funny in his afternoon show... and we can agree to disagree..... DC fans are peculiar type, when a player comes there , he is the greatest this and that and what a great signing and when they leave, they are all bums and in between a list of excueses why things didn't work out...…

and I still think RGIII sucked.

I listen to Kevin and Cooley, Doc and Mitchell. Kevin and Cooley left, Kevin has his own Podcast, Doc and Mitchell each have their own show.

Hi. I like tacos. Not the player, but the edible.......yum .

I don't like Doc much. too much of a homer and he hates the cowboys. Mitch is OK. I know Kevin and Cooley left. Kevin was a homer but he was logical. Cooley was good, a bit of a homer obviously, but did good analysis and breakdown of players. He was the one that called out Beasley's simple route running last year and that he can easily be neutralized by where he lines up to tip off the defense on what route he runs.

Think it comes down to Dak leading off the Cowboys in a strong season that had them playoff bound and they wanted Romo to take over in what they considered to be the most talented or one of the best teams the Cowboys recently had. Romo didn't so some resent Dak for that. They wanted for Romo to have a chance at finishing what Dak started that season. Then expected Dak to go back to being back up QB (as well as expecting the team just to embrace Romo has their QB again and not lose any steam with the chemistry change replacing Dak might have caused)
