True, but I felt that we also made sufficient adjustments toward the end. That is one area though that we need to be better at. Luckily, we have a QB that they can practice on.
For sure, I was encouraged but as I said, I’m cautiously optimistic until we face teams that will be lucky to win 5-6 games this year. Hell, it’s always nice to beat the Gnats but we just beat a team that has won THREE games out of the past 18, has an arguably worse O line then their bottom of the NFL ranking last year and has an over the hill, inaccurate, immobile QB and some people act like we just won the Super Bowl.

I fully expect our defense to dominate the next 3 games and for us to be 4-1 but until we play a worthy team and worthy O line then I’m not going to get overly excited, we’ve all been let down for over two decades so I think level headed people understand the restrained jubilation.

The six sacks on Eli Manning was a testament to the fact the Cowboy’s defense has arrived. Dallas was relentless with the pressure on the NY Giants. I have been saying since training camp that the Cowboys have the best defense in the NFL. The D-line rotation looks incredible. Taco has come into his on and big Antwaun Woods is consistently clearing out blitzing lanes for the LBs. Dallas finally has a motor grader in the middle of the line.

The Lbs cover sideline to sideline and Jaylon looks like Flash on the field. The Dbs look lightning fast as well and can provide tight press man coverage that give the D-line the opportunity to cause havoc. I am ready for the next game. Defense wins championships.

This pass rush looks like a ballet of sorts that ends in a plane crash.

The Defense has come a ways but the offense needs to score 21 to 28 points a game before Super Bowl is in the discussion. Put on the brakes until Thanksgiving before having the Cowboys in the Super Bowl.

I’m well aware of the other comment but that’s not what you qouted and I qouted your criticism of another fan based on the qoute you used. This is the problem with people like you, you don’t know how to qoute properly and expect others to read your mind. If you want to have an adult conversation perhaps you should learn how to qoute like an adult.

If you had a problem with his comment about Dak you should have qouted that but you didn’t, did you? Instead you qouted what he said about the O lines we’ve played which is absolutely correct. I never questioned your “facts” statement, I simply said you like to use stats/facts so you questioning me over your dynasty comment is irrelevant. I don’t know how you expect others to keep up with 6 pages of dialogue when you can’t even keep up with your own comments child.
Like I said before... You are commenting on things you don’t know the origin of. It all stemmed from him taking shots at Dak. Not about the opposing Olines. This is why you shouldn’t communicate on what a man says if you aren’t aware of the comments’ origin. This was all about how we CAN win with a dominating defense without the gaudy “arm talent stats” that rarely produced anything more than numbers.
Please stay in your lane Little Boy

What the hell do you keep talking about the origin for? AGAIN, I’m well aware of the origin but that’s not what you qouted therefore your argument doesn’t make sense. If you had a problem with his comment about Dak, why didn’t you qoute that comment?

It seems as though the Law of Averages has started to swing Jerry Jones's way. Too few of his gambles were paying off until recently. He gambled on Lawrence and Gregory, both carried reputations and baggage from their college days that lowered their draft rank but not their overall talent. Initially, both looked like the usual blunders with their suspensions but now they are poised to be everything they can be on the field.

Then there is Jaylon, a health gamble, pretty much all or nothing. Looks like we are getting the all.

The only issue is the non-rare occurrence of epidemic injuries and issues to a specific squad. In the case of the LB's it is their health and in the case of the defensive line it's the propensity for off the field stupidity. Hopefully, they are now more mature and can see the potential of the big picture. They could make history.

This defense isn't even at full strength. We get Irvin back in two weeks when the Cowboys play the Texans.

No, I happen to agree with the comment he made and you qouted so I took offense when you called him out about how much of a fan he really is.

Have you followed that guy’s posts? Apparently not. He trolls all threads that include Dak just to slide in and make negative remarks. He does this ALL DAY EVERY DAY. That’s why I questioned his fandom. That’s why others agreed and grilled him. He’s a simple Dak hating troll.
Which is why I suggest you find the origin of a dispute before you jump your A in it. Once again. Please stay out of Grown Men Business. You are way out of line for even arguing about this. How can you take offense to a remark that has nothing to do with you? That’s juvenile bs. Grown men only take offense to things directed AT THEM. This ain’t your fight Lil Dude. Stay in your lane.
Thank you in advance.

Lol, ok girlfriend. From now on, when you make an argument using someone else’s qoute just be sure that qoute is applicable to your argument. Get that son?

or is it a testament that the giants offensive line is bad. Our defense is good but the giants offensive line is bad too.

The Panthers O line is currently ranked one of the worst and Cam beat us with his legs. I don’t know what to think about that, certainly nothing overly positive.
Holding a team to 16 points a game is a way to win, unfortunately our game plan on offense looked like complete garbage in that game...

Under the circumstances I think our defense did ok vs the Panthers and what I expected vs the Giants which is what I expect tomorrow and next week and especially the week after vs Houston.

slightly off topic but I hadnt realized the Giants have gone 35 straight games without getting to 30 points - WOW
and Odell Beckham, if I recall correctly, has only played in a game where NY scored 30 one time in his career

The current super bowl champions gave up 500 yards offense and forced zero punts.

Please tell us again about how defense wins championships
The Eagles didn't just wake up and find themselves in a Super Bowl. Before that, Philly had a Top 5 defense in the regular season, and would have gone out in the first round if not for a 15-10 win.
