So what?

That says more about no running backs having a great start to the season more than anything about Zeke Elliott doing well.

He's on pace for almost 1500 yards with limited carries, and has a 5.6 average. I don't think that is indicative of other guys not doing anything.

That was a different era, an era when WR were getting mugged and Aikman and Irvins timing was to perfection. Apples and oranges, you cant even touch WRs now and they still cant get open...

The WRs could also mug the cornerbacks as well. I.e., Michael Irvin.

Do your homework.

Look at how few times this team even tries to run the ball.

You point to one attempt yesterday as if it's indicative of anything. It isn't.
So tell me again how we're supposed to run the ball if the QB can't pass the ball and extend drives? He had 68 yards passing late in the third quarter yesterday. I'll sit back and listen.

It's clear Dak doesn't trust his arm nor his accuracy to convert on 3rd down. How many times did you see him try to run right off the bat on 3rd and long yesterday? Teams have caught on to that and are waiting for it.

He is the reason we have a poor 3rd down conversion rate.

Owens performed very well for two different teams afterwards as well.

No he didn't...

829 yards and 5 touchdowns his first year with the bills, his year with the bengals was much better, but still down from his peak production with romo and even worse than his worst year with romo and that year had 3 games with Brad Johnson...

OC needs to go, but I don't know who a suitable replacement would be.

Agree. But then the offense needs to learn new plays, schemes and a system in mid-season. This isn't going to happen during the season. After the season it most likely will happen if things don't change.

The Cowboys in 2007 had 13 pro bowlers.

When you're chasing Matt Brieda for the lead, it's indicative of a slow start for running backs.

He is on pace for 1461 yards rushing and 10 rushing touchdowns.... That's not doing well?

It's good for Zeke, but not good enough for the Cowboys when the passing game is on pace for 2300 yards and 11 TDs.

They entered the season with everything riding solely on Zeke's shoulders. They need to get him the ball a heck of a lot more than they are so far this season.

A blind squirrel could find that nut, doesn't say much for our coaching staff.
