Romo interview

Yeah he really evidenced that against Carolina with his 3 picks in the first half. You guys really just love forgetting key things to make your arguments seem valid
A key thing you seem to have forgotten to make your argument seem valid. He was rushed back into the lineup still suffering from the injury that had him out the lineup.

I distinctly remember the camera angle from the endzone early in the game that showed him under center pale as a ghost, wide eyed and drenched with sweat. I knew it was over right then.

He was medically cleared. If it works as an argument for his health in 2016, it shouldn't be an excuse for an injury in 2015.

The double standards with this man have got to stop.

Really? Is that what you remember? Because he seemed A ok in the game previous against Miami.

I was wondering how long before this came up. It's the perfect situation for the media to start spit ballin' about Romo because of the conditions he retired under.

I don't think we'll ever know who was in each QB's camp but Romo is certainly a better man than me if he's not sitting back and enjoying how this is unfolding.

I cannot wait until he does the Cowboys first game and see how much of that presnap chatter and playing the OC/QB he does. I do not think he has a problem with Dak but I do think he has one with certain people in the FO and coaching,

If I had been the HC or GM, in this case, I would have kept Dak in as the QB1 for the time being but made it clear, the job will be open for competition in 2017. I was neither a Romorooter or Lover but the man deserved the chance to compete to get his job back after carrying the team for so long.

I also wonder if Romo has taken a really good look at the OL and pass protection? That trusted ole buddy of his has followed in his footsteps and the Cowboys do not have his replacement.

if only every answer could be as good as this one.

Lol.

So, first game back after a lot of rest and taking no hits against a bad team is a fair comparison to playing a second game in four days against a dominant defense after taking some hits just a few days earlier?

If you couldn't tell by watching that Romo was was suffering physically than you weren't paying attention or you were seeing what you wanted to see.

Medically cleared. Lol

This is the same guy who had to be dragged back off the field with broken ribs and a punctured lung.

Medically cleared... lol

The last 4 times he took an NFL hit he ended up out for an extended period of time.
Not here to defend Romo's health, but that's not true.

The last two times he took an NFL hit he got injured. Not 4. No need to exaggerate as your point still stands to some degree.

I think he got hurt 2 times in the last 7-8 good hits he took, and then 3 times in 9...so not good.

He got hit several times (3 sacks and more hits) in the Philly game, then he got hit hard twice at Miami (4 days before the Carolina debacle). That's probably one reason he was so screwed up in the Thanksgiving day game vs the Panthers. hort week not even fully healed from earlier int he eyar, then beat yup some at Miami only get face the eventual 15-1 Panthers on really about 3 1/2 days rest.
That was truly ugly.

I don't know how he would've been health wise, but he was taking Wednesdays off from practice already, as you recall. He really needed more time in 2015.

I'm sure he's enjoying the booth.

Exactly. Also the guy who went back in with the transverse fracture. Him being medically cleared in 2016 carries no weight for me. Didn't want the team risking more money on him because I think it was just a matter of time before another hit would send him to the sidelines again despite being medically cleared. It carried no weight in 2015, carried no weight in 2016 and carries no weight now.

What does Dak do better than Romo in your opinion? I’m just curious what would lead you think Dak is a better QB.
When did I ever say Prescott was better? I never did. I certainly think making a ******** statement like "He's better with arm" and actually believing is beyond idiotic. I would understand if it were meant as sarcasm. Then it would actually be funny.

He's better with 2 arms, when healthy. I'd guess he could come out of the booth and be better almost immediately, certainly within a week. But with one arm, no. It would have to throw off his balance and motion. And nobody specified which arm, if it's ole Righty we've got big problems.
