Somehow i dont know how that fumble was called , the ball just popped from a pile of players and Zeke was in the bottom, he cant fumble when he is already down , isnt it ? Need to watch that in slow motion

I don't understand this 4th down fumble rule. Only Zeke can recover it?

I believe because a guy could be getting stopped and then just drop the ball and hope his teammate gets it for a first down.

Correct. I’m guessing they do that so the ball carrier can’t purposely “fumble” it forward to another player on their team resulting in a first down in a last ditch attempt scenario.

The shotgun rpo type plays really open things up for this offense. It makes the defense take that extra half second identifying things. You have a great Oline, great RB, and a qb that can makes plays with his feet. Putting him under center more often is not playing to your strengths.
