My girl just asked me. What happens when the QB loses his voice or goes hoarse. How does he call the plays or snap count.

My guess is that they will use hand signals to signal the play in, and a silent count for the play.

I taught my son the game of football before he started kindergarten and told him he is responsible for answering his mother's questions about football. She knew better than to ask me during a game. That worked out pretty good, by the time he graduated high school, his mother didn't ask football questions anymore.
