Irving not playing

Because some so called fans actually hate the team they claim they are fans of. They find a way to whine about everything.
I mean I can see and agree on some of the criticism. But much of the time, they just want to hate on players.
I agree.

Same thing happened to Gregory.

To me it's whatever.

Look at Gregory.

He started out quick with a sack in his first game..

nothing since.

Obviously he is out of shape and flagging after 4 games.

D Irving will do whatever he can do.

No reason to dislike the guy.

:laugh:This is just like the Keystone Cops all the way round, from the dysfunctional front office to a dysfunctional player.

Huh?

Everything we’ve ever got from Irving is GRAVY—we’ve invested next to nothing in the guy. Brilliant find by the FO, and great coaching by Marinelli. The guy has issues...oh well. Some people in our world do.

The most hilarious thing about this thread is that some of the guys posting here wanted Dallas to secure Irving with a 1st round tender, and not a second-rounder as the team wisely opted for.

Unless I’ m missing something, seems like most people didn’t think Irving would play this week. Unless I’m wrong. Like the tweet said. Guys had 1 practice since November before this week.

As for Maelik...the guy is out another week. Max of two. Funny thing but injuries occur in this league and the game goes on.

If anyone wants to place a bet that Houston wins this game because they beat our d-line in the trenches...I’m all ears.

Do you not think the disappointment and frustration is warranted in the case of David Irving?

Wow Irving is a friggin panzy wuss. "Coach, I don't wanna play, I would get tired and stuff." "Don't worry little davey, coachie woachie will not allow that to happen to you. You just take as much time as you need till you feel comfy. Then we can talk about you playing again". *sniff* "Thanks coach."

I cannot stand the culture in Dallas.

Find us a team that plays a guy —significantly - the first week back when he’s had no mini camps, camp or pre-season games. Find that guy and get back to us, would ya?

What about this guy? David Irving. Last year. Didn't he miss the first four games due to suspension last year but was ready for action in game five?

Irving didn’t miss training camp last year. You may recall he “lost his nipple ring” during one of the practices.

The guy is a goof. Whatever we get is gravy. The team’s not going to invest in him longterm. None of this is ‘breaking news’.

This guy is going to look back on his life when he’s older and think of what could have been. Hall of Fame, generational wealth type of talent who there’s just always something going on with and most of it is within his control. Once he gets away from the Cowboys who are more patient with these things than most teams, I wonder how long he will last in the NFL.

It is, that is not the issue. But as usual many of the comments are just stupid and are not needed.

I think you're confused. I believe "nipple ring" was prior to last year. But even though he didn't show up for camp - which he could have - unlike 2017, he's been allowed to workout and attend meeting and has been since September 12th. There's no valid reason for why he still isn't ready to go.

Nobody said it was. Don't divert anything here.

But the fact is that now it's even one week less of any of that "gravy" you're referring to. And more disappointing news from a career screwup and fountain of disappointing news.

I'd say about as long as Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain lasted after they left the Cowboys.
