Irving not playing

Nope. Not even close. Ingram was playing in preseason games.

You’all can’t come up with one name of a guy who missed all camp, all-pre-season and then joins the roster mid-season and is immediately ready to play.

According to some people on these forums, Tony Romo could do it.

Our DL has been decent all year. Why is it all of a sudden in trouble when a guy who hasn’t played all year isn’t playing again?

The pass rush is becoming increasingly one dimensional as the season progresses. Demarcus or bust. Crawford does well to create pressure but Irving is the one guy who we know can seal the deal.

Plus the team is getting light at DT due to injuries which is why I'm sure the team was anticipating Irvings return to help in this area.

Sorry but this dude had all this time to take care of his personal issues. What personal issue does he have to handle on SUNDAY?

Everything we get from Irving is gravy at this point...... he is the 7th or 8th man on the DL

He is not in my future plans

Right Kind of Guy. A Garrett phrase.

We kept hearing that phrase RKG being such an important factor in personnel decisions then, 8 years later, we still end up with a ton of suspensions and generally stupid off-field behavior.
Twill
RGreg
DLaw
Zeke
Irving....

I've never heard of someone not being ready to play after their suspension ended.
Of course not. You see it all the time. However the guy here who claims he can't play after a suspension because he didn't play in the pre season and therefore not ready. Yeah he would be too fresh. He should have dead legs first lol.

The player and the person are one and the same.

One day these guys are savior's and the next they are bums and thoughtless.

As a longtime fan..

I have gotten used to it.

He hasn't changed since he has been here. He has always been a knucklehead (I would like to use a stronger word in place of knucklehead). He has always been a player that is problematic and that's putting it kindly.

I do not like having that type of player on the roster. They can be worth putting up with provied the play every game and bring it every game, but they are never worth it longer term. Yet some fans act like they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

The team did the right thing by putting the second round tender on him and hoping someone took him. In retrospect maybe it hinted what a turd he was for us. Maybe we should have have put the first rounder on him so that teams would think we wouldn't want to lose him.

It's hard to not look forward to the day when this cliwn is no longer a Cowboy.

There is something going on that we don't know about. Whatever it is, I hope it is completely resolved before he returns.

I am not clear on the rules regarding a 4 game suspension at the start of the season. They can go to training camp and participate in preseason games? Or each case handled differently? Perhaps it depends on whether the player is going through drug rehab?

Why would any team be interested in a player eligible to attend training camp but decides against it?

He did not practice on Thursday because of a "personal matter"... he had 4 weeks of nothing to get his house in order, but apparently did not
His "personal issues" are required by the nfl
That's what they have to call it, he's still in a program

Irving is in an ongoing custody battle with an evil ex for his daughter.

Some of you should keep that in mind

He's not in football shape. No surprise he's not playing. Surprise will be if he plays next week.
