Why - we needed a safety and could have gotten one for a 2nd that would have helped. We had a WR that was better than what we just traded a 1st round pick for and we kicked him to the curb. We threw Romo to the curb for a sorry QB that can't see an open receiver down the field. We could have gotten Josh Gordon for nothing.

Its worth an apology - this coaching staff and owners are just heartbreakers!
 
As weird as it seems, I can't imagine rooting for any other NFL team. I'm for some reason proud to be a fan.

Although when Romo went down in 2015 and the season was out of reach, it was fun following and rooting for the Panthers (my hometown team).

Absolutely can't stand Newton and any team on the East coast. KC is fun to watch but can't make myself be a fan.

Just need to walk away from the NFL I think but doubt I can.
 
I need to do the same for my nephew, this close to giving up on cowboys

I could probably make myself a fan of the Chiefs if that walrus Andy Reid wasn't on the sideline dialing up the plays.

I only hate Andy Reid because he isn't coaching my team.

Hindsight is 20/20.

However, in theory, we could still have our #1, ET, Gordon and Romo for the cost of a #2 and #5.

I was with you until you inferred Dez Bryant now is better than Amari Cooper. No way. Cooper is an upgrade and better than anything Dallas had since '14/'15 Dez Bryant. Was it he wortha 1st, no way. But they did upgrade the position, IMO.
 
Don't get too worked up now. Because it can get worse. So save your angst.

Think about how you are going to react when you realize we aren't going to make the playoffs, we gave up a Top 10 pick for Amari Cooper and Garrett is coming back in 2019.
