He definitely played better the last couple games, and the last game under duress. But that fumble... jeez.

Even without the fumble it was a disaster. Instead of throwing the ball away, he spins back into the end zone for a safety.

There was plenty of time and field to get rid of the ball. He just doesn't pull the trigger.

Yes, I know his fumble was unforgivable. He also whiffed on the two wide open wrs for td on a single play.

But you can see the confidence growing in his throwing, he's starting to look down field for those chunk plays. I say we stick it out with him this season. I think he's in the middle of finding his stride right now. That being said, if he regresses or doesn't continue on this path depending on our options in FA/ draft, put the writing on the wall.

Getting better ? His 2 fumbles cost us 14 points.....................

He was awful. Missing open guys all day long. Enough of this “Dak is getting better.” He’s not a NFL franchise QB. If you think he is or will be your football IQ is lower than Dak’s jersey number. He’s a very low end starter or high end backup. If that’s what you want as your starting QB then you’re a worse talent evaluator than Jerry.
Enough with your pathetic, whiny rants. Dak is staying here whether you or your groupies like it or not.

Dak was gawd awful. How anyone could have watched that game and decide the best course of action is to blow #1 pick on an underachieving WR beats me.

I can almost hear Dak telling Jerry and Stephen..." I need more help @ WR"...and that's how the ball got started rolling on this trade. Wouldn't shock me one bit to come to find out that is the truth.

Wasn't bad enough he threw our best guy under the bus in Dez....

Now it's the entire WR crew isn't good enough.

Yet time and again you see snap shots of Dak missing wide open WRs all over the place...

I've been kinda hard on dak lately but I also do see what you are describing. He threw the ball down the field against the skins accurately quite a few times. He's still a work in progress and needs to make better decisions at times but there were positive signs. Let's hope the addition of cooper can help open up this offense and help dak gain more confidence.

Dak is not a good QB. If you’re ok with him being the QB of the Dallas Cowboys you’ve pretty much resigned yourself to mediocre QB play. He won’t be the QB here much longer if he doesn’t improve significantly and soon. No way the FO pays him starter money with him playing the way he has been.

So yea I guess you’re right. He will be staying here for another season. Maybe.

No I saw all the missed throws. But he's at least now looking down field and throwing more than check downs
He might throw more down field but for the most part they are still wide open. I think he is scarred to throw the passes in the middle with defenders near but the man isn't necessarily covered. I think that's why he keeps "missing" the play where the two receivers are running open because he's scarred to throw the ball in those types of windows. Think about it how often has Dak thrown the ball in right windows esp in the middle of field? I'm not saying take crazy chances but some of those receivers are more open than he thinks but he's tooo safe at times.

Dak continues to be a checkdown King and avoids throwing in the intermediate to deep middle of the field. And this is going back to even 2016, his best year.
If any stats person on the Internet can see this I'm sure nfl teams can. I think he is either too scarred or not confident in his arm to throw passes in the middle of the field if the receiver isn't wide open. I think that's why he keeps "missing" that play people keep showing where two receivers are open in the middle of the field.

The major issue with Dak is whether he gets protection and how he reacts to pressure. He is very good when he has time, OK or poor when he doesn't, depending on the game. I posted the same thing after the game, Dak seemed to improve a bit on his major weakness of passing under pressure in this game.

Also the fumble in the end zone was forgivable, its a classic strip sack and Romo said so from the booth. Every QB loses that ball, Eli Manning has done it from day one .

Apparently you missed all the times he pulled back and ran against prevent and soft zones when he had dudes running down the seams wide open or down the sidelines
I thought you'd be happy this week. Last week he won 40-7 but you complained about it because he threw for less than 200 yards. This week he threw for almost 300 yards and you're still complaining. There's no pleasing you!

The problem with that tweet is that he didn't actually watch the video he is posting. At the point Gallup breaks open Dak has the Defender one foot from him who came running at a dead sprint on a delayed blitz. He wouldn't have even been able to get his arm back for the pass before he would have been sacked for a safety.
I have tried to point this exact thing out. Dak haters will blame him though that's what they do.

He didn't look down field to throw on his last two drives...

He could've got the ball t somebody without taking that sack fumble even if with what you're saying. Still on him just as much as the O line

This team has been mediocre, at best, for the past 20+ years. What in the world makes you think that they would not be ok with Dak. Have you forgotten who our coach is, and how long he has been here? If you look up mediocre in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of Garrett.

I get it, you have it out for Dak. He made Romo dispensable, he asked that Dez be released, he kicked a kitten one time, he refused to shake an old ladies hand and help her cross the street. Whatever the reason is, he's still the QB and due to the trade today, he will most likely be here for the foreseeable future. So if this makes you miserable, you may want to find something else to do on Sundays.
