We will get high-octane "finds" from Montana and Delaware.
Forget forever our dream selections in the first round. High if we tanked.
Now it will be Tennessee State, Tarleton State and St. Pius-Nebraska.
I spit at the 2019 draft!

Thing is, we got a good WR.

The more I sit on this, the more I like it.

My only problem is we could have used that pick on a QB.

But either way, we needed a WR anyway.

Don't get so salty, guys. There are a few positives here.

Like Cooper is probably better than Dez at this point. And he's an upgrade over what we had...

By virtue of the Cowboys current record, and the fact that the Raiders seem to be tanking and Giants are truly bad, they weren't getting any of those players anyway.

Not that I'm happy the first round pick is gone, but right now that pick was going to be fairly in the middle of the draft anyway.

They weren't intending on tanking.

Where it might end up being ironic is if the Cowboys spend this trade and then lose heavily anyway and end up with a top ten pick for the Raiders.

It's in their best interests to just win now. It's in the best interests of those fans here that wanted Dallas to tank to start cheering for them to win instead.

Nothing is really gained by losing anymore.

This is true.

And, the pick we got was a #4 overall pick.

So now we have two top 10 WRs on the roster.

I personally wanted to see more out of Austin. But that hasn't happened.

No draft party for me next year. Been an annual tradition for about 15 years.

**** I should just stop watching NFL altogether

Yeah and now Herbert will end up with the Giants and we will be screwed for years. This was a stupid trade. You need a QB who can actually throw the ball and read a defence.

Seriously?! That would be so dumb not to resign Beasley! We need more than 1Weapon at WR position and Beasley is one of the best Slot WR’s in the NFL.

One of the very reasons why they started the season with Beasley, a 3rd round pick and a bunch of scrubs is because they didn’t want to put allot of money in the WR position. That Dak offense crap was just crap. I’m guessing they are still reluctant to do so, but they just traded a first round pick on one. If he plays well they have to sign him to an extension. So do you think Lawrence, Cooper and Beasley will be getting an extension this offseason while Zeke is waiting in the wings? We will see I guess.

Sounds like we are just going to piss away 2019 and dream about 2020. Smh.

Bosa and Greedy are going top five, and with a 3-4 record, we were never going to get them anyway. I figure that our first rounder would be about #10 or #11 in the absolute best case and more around like 14-18, which is still a horrific trade for Cooper, but Herbert and Oliver and all those QBs and blue chip guys were basically out of the question.

I thought some guy was reporting that the Giants was the only team that was projected to be picking a QB in the first round? Maybe I miss read or seen some video incorrectly.

It's all speculation at this point of the season. But franchise caliber QBs never hang around for long on draft day.

I look at it more like they want to know what Dak is before sticking with him. If Dak doesn't produce now with a #1WR, they are going to move on.
at this stage if they're still having doubts then they already know the answer and postponing decisions is only delaying the inevitable. We have too many handicaps this organization is fascinated with, start cleaning house now before it's too late. My biggest fear is everyones career here is wasted because of project coaches and players. Be done with that mess already and find the right people.

I heard yesterday that Herbert is planning on returning to school.

A TE in the 2nd? Pretty good TE class next year.

Makes a lot of sense for our team. Even Swaim has been getting 90%+ of the snaps. We'll use a TE, and we'll use him a lot.

I guess we can trade Zeke and some other guy and get back in the first round. Sean Lee has maybe one more year.

Heard that too. Love to get him or Tua from Bama on 2020 (if he come out) if Dak doesn't start to do something
