Before this goes off the rails as a defend or attack Dak thread, read the article. It’s very specific. This offensive line, the heart of the team, has regressed significantly and it’s not on the loss of Travis Frederick.

This team is not going anywhere until this gets fixed. And the first thing that needs to happen is Collins needs to move back to the guard position.

Look at this. As the writer says, he flat out took his lunch money.

Bad example to me. The blocking allowed Dak to drop into position to throw against a blitz (five-man rush). That ball has to come out.

That's part of the problem that's getting blamed on the line. When a team rushes extra players, it has to be recognized and the quarterback has to know where he's supposed to go with the ball when he hits his back foot. Over the middle to the tight end was open because of the blitz, but Dak didn't anticipate the throw.

As soon as Jarwin crosses behind Swaim that throw has to be made. A half-second is the difference between the blocking being good enough and an offensive lineman allowing a sack to a quality pass rusher.

The O-line got manhandledand if it's not a health issue it has to be a technique issue, so I'm looking straight at the new coach. I expected some drop off with Looney and Williams but I never thought I'd see our tackles getting abused as they did Sunday.... Paul Alexander you're on the clock.

Holding on to the ball, and dak moving around hurts the oline too. They cant see where dak moves too, and it makes it harder on them. They do need to step up though

I’m sorry but this is just nonsense. Dak has the third highest time to throw in the NFL. It’s been this way since the beginning of the season.

The OL did not forget how to play or has regressed.

Your “franchise QB” is holding the ball too long because he hesitates to find an open guy.

Anticipation? Not there.
Accuracy? 50% of the time.
Read a defense post snap? Nope.

The opposing team’s players have been telling you for weeks that they dare Dak to beat them and he can’t.

Rinse. Repeat.

I’m still on the side that says the problem is more with the ball not getting out on time than the protection. Before anyone says it, I’m not knocking Dak. It’s possible his receivers simply aren’t getting open. Clearly, that’s the opinion of the front office.

Why are you picking out just them in that game?
Go and watch the game. That interior got ZERO push on run blocking the whole day. The line sux.

This line has been absolutely putrid since the ATL game last year and has caused a massive amount of problems. Yeah Dak's holding the ball a little to long on some plays and his internal clock is ****ed because of piss poor O-line play. When you get sacked 10 times in one game it's hard to trust the guys in front of you and make plays. How many of you wouldn't be scared ******** a 300lb linemen is gonna take your head off on every play?
There's a slew of problems adding up to one **** offense.

It's not JUST DAK or JUST THE LINE but I think if I had one thing I could magically fix I would immediately choose the line. It's supposed to be the heart and soul of this team and it's played like total *** for almost a year and half and it's showed big time.

When Zeke can only run for 31 yards on 14 carries it’s the line.

We all hate Mickeys homerism but he pointed out last 2 road games he’s had 35 carries for 88 yards.

Zeke May have one bad game. He doesn’t stink it up that bad twice unless there’s nowhere to run.
