It doesn’t hurt that so far we’ve played 3 of the top 10 worst offenses and have yet to play a top 10 offense. Next game we will inflate our stats by playing the 3rd worst offense in the league. Yay.
I'm sure it doesn't hurt, but you can only play who's on the schedule so it is what it is. We will see what they really are when we meet up with the rest of the NFC South, but right now, they are 3rd.

I didn’t think it was possible, but our threads are somehow getting dumber.

Giants aren’t giving players to division rivals.

A 5th seems like a great deal for DET. I wonder why that deal worked for everybody.

Yep.

Sad thing here is that we are a really young team with a pretty sound base. And they'll still screw it up. They've already started the screw up by bending over and taking one from Gruden by just offering up their 1st rounder for Cooper.

FA is going to be a hoot too I bet. I see some of the homers saying that they think they will spend in FA this offseason because of all their cap space. LOL. They won't. They'll nickel and dime FA just like they always have.

What a real GM might be able to do with this roster. Such a shame we have two boobs running things.
I always thought it was funny during the ET speculation how everyone just assumed he was going to be here one way or another. “Just wait them out, we’re a sure bet to pay him in FA.” Oh really? What has anyone seen that would make them think this franchise is going to jump head first in to FA and outbid other teams? How quick does his market go to the Cowboys “we like what we have zone”?

As I said in the offseason, I hope the Giants keep their current GM Gentlemen around for a long time.

What’s wrong with setting yourself up for the #1 pick while shedding a big contract attached to a guy who probably won’t be able to help you when the QB you take with that #1 pick is ready to lead you somewhere?

Herbert would have to come out early. Possible, but not expected.

C’mon. He’ll be the projected #1 pick in a QB starved league. If the Giants have designs on him they’ll be letting his camp know now that they’re manoeuvring for the #1 pick.

You don’t risk another year of college if you’re the projected #1 pick.

Giants will be another team in our division that will go from rebuilding to contending before we do

People said that about the Giants going into this season - that between their draft and getting Beckham back the Cowboys would be left lagging. That hasn't happened, and I don't see how trading Harrison for a 5th rounder gets the Giants any closer to being a good team.

You’re right about the grades but apparently there’s been some indications Herbert may stay another year. I would die laughing if they took Lock and especially Thorsen.
Honestly I haven't even started reviewing prospects yet. It does appear Herbert is the top dog though.

He's worth more than a 5th, a lot more. And $10M for Snacks is a steal.

Why would snacks not help their next QB?

But this isnt abour snacks, I've been saying this since the offseason as I said in the exact comment you quoted.

1. They picked a RB over QB in a strong class
2. Gave up draft capital for Ogletree who is garbage
3. Signed ancient Johnathan Stewart for a much larger contract than he should have demanded
4. Signed Solder to the largest Oline contract, despite him being a slightly above average LT
5. They were debating not extending OBJ at the time which would have been really dumb
