He caught the Hail Mary from Mitchell Trubisky last week and got stopped at the 1 yard line by the Pats.

What happened to Kevin White?

He's been hurt, a lot. He's healthy this season, but has only caught 2 balls all year (not sure how many times he's been targeted). He caught the one-yard short Hail Mary this past week against New England.

Chicago did not pick up his 5th year option so he's a free agent after the season. Assuming his contract demands aren't too high, I'd love to see us take a chance on him. He's off the charts athletically and he'd be at best, the third option here. He's the kind of former top draft pick, high SPARQ guy that McClay has been willing to gamble on in the past. Again, would need to be a prove-it type contract.

Makes me wonder how athletic he is now, compared to his combine/pro day self.

I'm a fan of Kevin White so pardon my bias, but he still looks athletic. This preseason he ran a stop and go route for a TD that made a DB look silly. Even the one-yard short Hail Mary was a solid play (also awful play by New England DB's).
