Aaron Rodgers is making his junky line work with one good leg and Byron Bell.

Drew Brees is about to make his line work with Chaz Green

I have heard that he is having the O-Line doing different techniques than the other line coaches previous. Sounds like he should have left it alone. I would fire him.
I would too
Though I think some of the problem is a rookie on the oline, smith not his former self and Martin not either due to being banged up
I would never have changed anyone’s technique if it was working though

I heard on some report or podcast that Alexander wasn't satisfied with just tinkering with the NFL's best OL upon his arrival. He wanted to change how they played and implemented entirely new methods on hands and feet techniques. I guess this frustrated the OL and they've been unhappy all season with playing methods that were so foreign to them. Interesting discussion. I'd just been pegging their performance to Frederick's loss, a green Conner and a backup center. But, it looks like the fundamentals have been changed on them. I can see why there is frustration.

Yes. Among other things, I believe he’s asking the tackles to keep their hands low, in order to avoid giving pass rushers a target (with historical conventional wisdom being to keep them high and in position to deliver a strong, short punch to the rusher’s chest). I watched for that on the plays on which La’el got put on skates. It did seem to be part of the issue. La’el seems not to know what to do with his hands anymore. Kerrigan gets his arm into La’el’s chest with ease right off the snap and the play is basically over.

I have suspicions that the guys are confused and thinking waaaay too much.

Did he promise a G the T job to get him to sign? Did he draft a T to play G when he's undersized and then just throw him out there before he's ready?

Yes, by all means, fire that person.

100% fire him.
Did nothing in cincy outside if willie Anderson and they drafted 12 guys in rounds 1 through three for him to develop.

Never wanted him here

Entire coaching staff with the exception of a few personal, Kris Richards, receivers coach, I cant remember his name. All of them,....If we hire Lincoln Riley from Nebraska, he needs to be allowed to hire his entire coaching staff...new blood is what we need with no ties to the old staff.....we wish, I wish this would happen.

In order to fire the staff and make it effective, Dallas has to hire a GM. I cant get excited until both Jones wont touch this team.

No they don’t need to fire him but it’s admittedly easier than dealing with the actual problem

So he’ll probably be canned at the end of the season.

Letting Frank Pollack go was a stupid move. Made no sense at all. The work he did with smith, freddy, zack, collins, Leary and free was outstanding.

When a player fails to execute, is that the fault of the coach or the player?

Normally I'd agree. Aaron Rodgers has been sacked over 50 times and close to 50 times for a few seasons. A lot of those sacks came from him trying to make something out of nothing. In our instance I feel like Dak is having a hard time seeing past the line of scrimmage pre/post-snap. The packers line didn't magically go from bad to good (a lot better in comparison) in one year when they went from 8.65% sack rate to 6.1%, more decisiveness and a faster release corrected that.

Daks rookie season he was at 5.1% sack rate, 2017 was 6.1 and this year is 10%. This year is terrible. And it matches with what I'm seeing from his decision making and inability to adjust presnap. Romos worst year was 6.5% in 2011 with rookie Tyron Smith, Montrae Holland, Phil Costa, Kyle Kosier, and Doug Free in his worst season. I don't buy for a second our current line is so much worse than the 2011 line.

This is why I'm not buying the excuses that majority blame is elsewhere but the QB.

Our current o line is miles ahead of the 2011 line

I bet a majority of current NFL QBs would trade their o line for ours right now, given the opportunity

Replace Alexanders name with Garretts. Because until that happens everyone else is just a scapegoat for the real problem.
