I feel as bad about it as anyone.

But if the Cowboys were dead set on getting a WR in this draft anyway, Cooper is better than anyone coming out in this draft.

He played well for game one with a bad QB and very little gameplan. Not mad at him at all.

If that was their logic they are dumber than I could have imagindd

We will lose at least four of the next five putting us at 4-9, in line for a Top 5 pick.

And our doofus of a GM traded it for a WR.

This is what happens when you panic and make an emotional decision.
But...but.... we couldn’t have drafted a WR this good with our #1 draft pick.

Another boneheaded move by are GM.

Easy to make trades when there is zero accountability. It's not like he didn't have experience from previous trades..Joey Galloway, Roy Williams.

It's not that Amari Cooper is bad. It's the shortsightedness of this kind of trade. It was an overreaction to your own incorrect decision of not needing a true #1 WR this past off-season. But at the end of the day, he'll still be the GM. Jerry has been, still is, and continues to be the problem.

Well, 40% of top 5 picks bust (around that since 2000, think slightly higher)

Cooper flashed #1 WR potential tonight.

That trade isn't the problem.
It is a problem. And for all this crap I keep hearing about him "flashing #1 potential"..58 yards. How low have we sunken?

Well at least the Dak-a-holics can't blame Coop for the loss, like many of us were afraid they would. Cooper actually was the one guy on offense that was good tonight

Titans 3rd down conversions says the trade is a problem. Draft at the top is loaded on D.

These guys have watched such horrid WR play for so many years they don't know what a real #1 looks like.

Jerry has all his eggs in Dak's basket. He's desperate. He's aging rapidly. He's scared to death of a 5-year rebuild at 76 years old. He doesn't want to admit he's wrong.

Reality is setting in. Not sure if he knows what to do.
