Ok. Well considering Staubach, D. White, T. Romo, D. Meredith were all not first rounders, and our only franchise guy who was = T. Aikman, if you isolate it to the Cowboys only, your point is deflated.

You don't need a 1st round QB to win.

I’m honestly ok with it at this point because it’s the only way our coach will get fired. We can acquire a QB in the off season and draft one in 2020.

I don't see why we can't pick one up in this draft, besides the need to be creative to get them. I think one of the current top five QBs will fall as always. W. Grier could fall to the bottom of the first or second even.

If they planned to use that pick on a WR i think Cooper is just as good if not better than the guys coming out. Also it probably won't be a top 5 pick.
