Cowboys postgame tweets

It's the FO's fault. They kept telling us that Romo had 5 more years and all the time he was falling apart. They didn't want to take a chance to get a franchise QB. They lucked into Dak. Well Dak is not the future but neither was Romo. Now we have to start over whenever Jerry decides he's had enough with Dak. Seeing how long it's taking to get rid of Garrett it might be a long wait.

I dunno. Romo sure looked good when he came back in 2016 for that series vs. the Eagles. Just would love to see how he would have done in the '17 camp with missing much of '16 and letting his backside heal a bit.

Romo is 38 now. Brees is 39, and Brady is 41.

I'm all for bringing him back for 2019 (too late for this year) and looking for his heir apparent. Too bad we don't have a 1st and now we'll waste Amari's tenure trying to find another QB.

Probably right...

but the 4 moves Jerry has left until the ultimate ax has to be put down....And in the order I think you will see them

1. Bench Conner Williams. He's just killing this offense like he has all year.

2. Change play callers. Kellen Moore likely next guy up. Doug Nussmeier takes over as QB coach.

3. Shuffle O-line....Collins back to G....start Fleming @ RT

4. Bench Dak...@ this point...This would be Garrett's last gasp of saving the season. Roll w/ White.

La'El Collins is worse, he's the worst RT in the league.

You could suit up Romo tomorrow and this offence would look 10000% times better. First series, Romo drops a dime to Cooper for a 70+ yard play.. Zeke pounds into in for TD.

Next series.. DC drops coverage back.. then Zeke pounds for 100 yards rushing in the first half. They try to put on a run stuff defence, Romo actually SEES it, audibles to a go route.. 80yd TD to gallup.

TBF, romo is not the answer but ANY QB with any kind of skill set would have this offence humming.

Kirk Cousins in this offense...

Not a tweet but wow, this on NFL media:
3. Cooper can't cure all of Dallas' ills on offense. The causes of the Cowboys' struggles can be traced back to -- again -- predictable and ineffective play-calling (stuff, pass, screen) from fourth-year offensive coordinator Scott Linehan; an inefficient run game from Ezekiel Elliott (61 yards on 17 carries) and a waning offensive line; and brain-dead pocket awareness from Dak Prescott (five sacks taken for the third time this season).

That is legit some of the harshest words written in a flimsy game recap that I can remember. How does Linehan and Garrett survive this?? I mean Jerry is not full blown idiot.

Who scrambles out of the pocket for a loss of yards?!!! TWICE in a season!

Seriously.. if that isn't enough to get you benched.. what is? Oh thats right we can't bench him because we don't have any remotely competent back ups because we were afraid of upsetting Dak with any kind of competition or evaulation for his spot. Kind of like when we made our future HOF QB walk instead of having some kind of robust training competition.
