I haven't gotten this from the beginning. Some act as if the Cowboys had really scored in hiring a D coach that wasn't wanted by his old team that was going through a secondary rebuild and that team has a D coach as the HC. Think he might know D coaches? Ever ask yourself why he didn't want to keep him?

So now, I see some think they have the next DC on board. Would that be the same one that's calling the D and gave up 28 at home to the 30th ranked O in the league?

Doesn't it make you think about it that SEA didn't want to keep him? Before we consider that part of the team puzzle solved, let's see how his D performs against the really good offenses left on the schedule.

Don't consider stats without considering opposition first. Check those stats at the end of 16 instead of the halfway point.

And before anyone excuses him because of injuries, that's when the real coaches step up and if you paid attention when he was in SEA, when he lost one of those pbers for a game, they didn't hold up well.

You guys can be a little irrational sometimes. Richard has made a huge impact on this team.

You do realize we've given up 28 points only once this season right? And that, at this point in the season last season, we gave up that amount like 6 times?

Never did in the first place
I have a lot of respect for Pete Carroll
If he let him walk, he needs to show me a ton before I'm buying in

Wait till after these next 4 weeks are over. We’re playing real offenses now.

He's now part of the clown show. A circus freak. Hard to pin anything on these assistants at this point. Richard and Lal would be the only coaches here worth keeping around 'when' a new coaching staff is finally hired..

Take a look at those teams they played and 28 is going to look manageable with some left on the schedule.

We'll see how he does after the next 4-5 games.

If 28 points scored by the Titans is the highest scored against us over the next ~month, then he adjusted well. If teams put up 40+, then maybe it's time to cut the relationship short.

I kind of viewed it more than the D quit. The D gave the offence plenty of chances to build a 21 point lead and just squandered it with poor play calling and QB play. Maybe that's what needs to happen, is for the players to give up. Personally, the D play calling looked more like an RM called the game. This D is still nowhere near complete, still, need a DT and 2 safeties on D and likely more.

The defense is still not this teams biggest problem or even top 5. The entire team spent 2 weeks not preparing for this game. The coach is too busy in LA.

He's still an upgrade over what was there before.

Hire a HC and let him decide if he wants to keep Richard or if he wants to bring in his own guy.

That's how it's supposed to work.

Yes.

Top 3 in Points Allowed.

TOs could be better, but if you had predicted us being top 3 in points allowed during this offseason, you probably would have been laughed at and called a kool aid drinker.

This defense has played well 7 of 8 times. Sadly, I wonder if the combination of Dak squandering the second turnover, the officials taking away the third, the offense looking like junk again, and then Lee once again going down... If all of that added up to a let down on defense. But I think KR is a good coach. But I wouldn’t be heartbroken if he leaves with JG. I think complete new blood is in order.
