Scott Linehan still has the support of Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett -- at least publicly -- but the Cowboys offensive coordinator is the No. 1 target of fans and sports talk radio hosts ...

Ginger must've hit Scott with the ol', "You nearly caused me to throw up my italian sub" line, and he fessed up out of guilt.

But seriously, his role is to be the fall guy in the Jone's family circus and he's perfectly aware of it.

Scotty knows he is going to be the scapegoat.....................he aint stupid, he can see what is going on.

I would have more respect for him taking responsibility if there were actual consequences for continuous failure in Dallas. Here, my bad gets you a standing ovation and the head coach addresses every failure with "we did some good things" Hell even Jerry said that he would fire himself for the job he has done as GM...so don't look for me to pat these guys on the back for taking responsibility when there are no consequences attached to it.

Linehan sucks. But the worst culprit here is Garrett. I know that people feel he's not going to be fired. But if the media and the fans keep calling for his head. Its gonna roll. Jerry can only handle so much negative publicity. It makes him uncomfortable.

eventually we'll have fired everyone but Garrett and Dak and they'll be trying to pin the blame on Jerry at that point.

He’s already being removed after the year. He must know that. Him and Garrett both, are soooo late to the party. No one wants to hear it anymore. “We’ve got to do better” is total garbage, because they can’t change or they would have already years ago. Let em keep humiliating themselves on national TV. I can’t wait for these next 5 games to be played. They’ll blow it in one of those with some stupid call,or mismanagement as usual to the laughter of millions. It’s just who they are. Freaking steamrolled by Tennessee of all teams? Oh my gosh...I’m still trying to digest that.

The same organization that Troy Aikman says needs to be nuked and rebuilt from the ground up?

No offense monkey, but I think I will go with the guy wearing 3 SB rings............his opinion carries a little more weight;)
Thats the second time you've hurt my feelings

Maybe the playcalling is the way it is because he is scaling it back for the Dakster. I've read a lot of complaints about them trying to turn him into a pocket passer which isn't his strength but what are they supposed to do? I guess they should bring out the old wishbone...

Complaining about the play calling and then calling Linehan a scapegoat?
My thought as well.

Linehan deserves to be gone more than anyone else. Even more than Garrett.

Dumping Linehan is the quickest upgrade.

If they like Moore, let them keep him on staff, but as the assistant to someone with experience.

Firing Linehan and Garrett won't solve the problem
Head of the snake, the ringleader, and the puppet master is the real problem and he is staying that is Jerry Jones .
I bet he is cooking some BS now to try to sell it to us.
.

They’re all gone. Maybe Richard stays if the new coach likes him.

Since our D looks good it would make since if we get a coach that prefers a 3-4 and we can go through that again.
