Because he is the 2nd longest serving coaches on the Cowboys sidelines. We cannot expect him to match Landry's 20 years success because game was getting started to reach out to masses and there were a lot of political issues, players not being available, no free agency etc.

Garrett has 1 losing season under Jerry Jones. Even the great Bill Parcells had not won a playoff game under Jerry's umbrella.

I see the fear in the Jerry's eyes that if he lets Garrett out of the cage, he might join the ranks of Belichik, Landry, Shula etc.

Jerry limiting him here where players dont respect coaches and middle of the season trades are hampering Garrett.

Your previous Garrett thread flamed out in a massive ball of fire so I see you are trying another one.

That border is guarded by the national army, and they've pushed him hundreds of miles back. If that's borderline, than yeah.

I see coach Garrett as the CEO of the company Dallas Cowboys. His calm demenaor is an asset on the sidelines. Because in order to succeed despite Jerry will not be easy.

Either you shut down Jerry like Johnson or Tuna or go along the ride like Garrett. Knowing when to step back, knwing when your boss needs to be the spotlight keeps you having a job longer.

so it's not about winning, it's about keeping the job. that's even more pathetic.

When a job is paying in millions, being in spotlight, keeping the job is more important than being a winner. Would you want to be Harbaugh or Jimmy Johnson or someone or just play along the company lines and collect 6 fig paychecks every month.

Any sane person would collect the paychecks and enjoy the ride by being part of football operations.

I've seen some Jets fans mention being interested in him if he's done here and Bowles gets fired. That resume looks so good on paper!

Hall of failure, but he’s not really borderline on that, more like all the way in it.

Just when I thought I may have finally heard it all, someone steps to the keyboard and types quite possibly the stupidest thing I will read for many years to come.

Is it a bad thing that after I passed gas I felt like I was sitting on oatmeal?
