Kris Richard involved in pregame scrum

Yeah, A coach who picks fights. That's what they need to win games. yahoo.

Meanwhile, majority of 1st down plays tonight were throws. A+

Heavy running in the 4th quarter. A+

Not letting Dak throw inside the 10 except for safe outlet passes. A+

That's all Linehan and Garrett. The game plan gets an A.

I posted it when I went to Oxnard for a day, Kris Richard totally has a presence that oozes leadership. Some people just have that, I was around General Wayne Downing in the Army and the guy looked like an insurance salesman until he started talking - and as soon as he did guys would follow him into Hades and back. He just had that thing, Richard has it too.

It's who Kris is. If you can't figure that out, you haven't been paying attention.

I've met him and heard him talk at coaching clinics. He's completely authentic. He's going to be a HC somewhere very soon. I also admire Pete Carroll, but I feel like the Seahawks scapegoated Richard last year. He also may have worn on Carroll and the players. Pete is a "how's your day going" kind of coach, while Kris has more of a "your day isn't going well because you aren't doing enough" type of approach.

Richard is more of a Jimmy Johnson guy. We really need that in Dallas. I think it has kind of shown on Defense. Type of guy that wears on "Jerry Jones" types but is entirely necessary in an organization...

I like what I see of Richard (who wouldn't), but the fact that Carroll let him walk when Carroll never lets guys walk gives me pause on him for a bigger role. That SEA team has had a ton of defensive upheaval, and they're still playing a lot better than I would have ever thought they could in Richard's absence.

That said, he seems completely authentic, as you say, and Marinelli sure seems to love him, too.

Jerry: Stephen have Richard's extension signed before we land back in Dallas.

Kudos to Richard, JG wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight.
Someone is going to offer Richard a higher profile coaching job at the end of the year.
