Are you kidding? Thier kicker had already missed a FG. I liked the move. Take the lead...or @ least try... Stafford had 3 timeouts left...and needed just a FG for the win.

I said it before this game. He'll keep getting that sort of play against good receivers. QBs know he can't play the ball, so they are happy to throw it up and let their stats make plays.

Couple of thoughts.

1. It was the right call to run the ball once we got inside the 35 at the end of the game. Could you imagine the reaction if Dak had taken a sack to get us outside FG range? Any incomplete pass also stops the clock. If Maher misses the kick, then Atl has time to get a FG themselves. We ran the ball well all game. We made the Falcons call all their TOs. This isn't the same as the Skins game. Different situations.

2. Lance Lenior is the luckiest guy on the team. He might've been riding a different plane home had we lost that game.

3. LVE has exceeded any expectations I had for him. The comparisons to Bobby Carpenter were ridiculous.

4. Dak really plays well at the end of games. I wonder why we never give him the opportunity to run a hurry-up in the middle of games?
