We haven't played to the Chicago level - they have an elite D, we have a top 10. We are not there yet to be okay with other parts of our game being poor.

They can get by with Trubisky only putting up 14 points....

I'd put Dallas's defense in the top five. You wouldn't because of your Goldilocks complex..........

I think it's closer than some in this thread have said, but the Bears shut down Adam Thielen for a half. The Vikings had to scheme him out wide to get him into the game.

Not much over the middle. That's not a good area for Cousins.

Also, it's funny to me you think the Bears only ever played against Cousins this year. They had two mediocre games this year, one against the Pats and one game against Miami where they were playing in near 100 temps.

Yes, but you're pretending we are doing what the Bears are doing. How's our defense with turnovers? OBJ was shut down? LOL OBJ has been inconsistent this year, it's not special we kept him to low yardage. Julio Jones? We allowed him to get a big catch in the red zone, an area of the field he sucks in.

The defense is good, good enough to win us games - they aren't the Bears D.

Then what are you coming at me for? You stated our defense is top 5, it's not. It's not even close to the Bears which actually SCORES on defense. Our D can't get turnovers consistently up until the past 2 weeks.

I have no idea what you are quoting, what are you even on about? The first response you sent me was you whining that people criticize Dak having a bad game. I explained this to you, you then attempted to say our D is anywhere CLOSE to Bears D. You claimed they were top 5 - I have asked you for a source on this.

Also, let's go ahead and read back and get context of what I said: I stated you made it out that the Dallas D is doing what the Bears are doing with "Shutting down" receivers. I never claimed you said the Cowboys D IS the Bears D, that is you adding to it. I was describing to you, and I can't believe i have to explain this, that we can't win games with poor offense because we do not have an elite defense. Clearly we can't, which is why we are .500 due to losing against good teams.
