His future is bright, but these kind of mistakes will get you knocked out in a playoff game. Especially if you're up against Brady or Roethlisberger.

Patting myself on the back for my scouting skills...loved, loved, loved Mahomes in college. I knew Texas Tech QBs get labeled "system guys" but kept seeing Mahomes make NFL throws and star-caliber plays. Also got a lot of naysayers in the draft forum here when I was pimping Jared Goff. So many here and NFL people too were thrilled to label him a bust in his first year.

In the beginning of the season I said he's going to be a more athletic Aaron Rodgers and my defensive coordinator said I was crazy and dared me to repeat it in front of the whole coaching staff. I still think the sky is the limit for him.

Here's the next guy (who isn't draft eligible until 2021), Georgia's Justin Fields.

Ok...I'm going back to my original thought...the guy is a turnover machine. I'm gonna pat myself on the back...because I saw this coming.

Told you...He tries to fit the ball into windows that aren't there...And he will pay the price.
