Is Dak unpopular because it is now a passing league?

A good young QB that just needed a little blocking and someone that can run routes. Once again you are proven dead wrong. Bounce up and down on that for a while.
Proven by whom, you? Now that's funny.

Proven by Dak. And yah its hilarious to watch guys like you get all tied up in a wad because our QB is playing well and winning games. Makes the victory that much sweeter. Maybe you could root for the Beagles?

Just watch. If Dak leads the team to a victory against the Saints next Thursday night, more excuses will come out against him.

Dak could throw 5 interceptions, no TDs, with a 33% completion percentage, while the defense/ST scores 4 TDs and Zeke goes over 200 yards rushing and you guys would be talking about how Dak led the team to a win.

It’s now a passing league, high flying league. It’s not “sexy” to run the ball. Smash mouth football is dying and the NFL set-up the game with new rules for Fantasy Footballers / Fan Duelers to make it exciting to throw for 500 yards a game and end up with a final score of 54-51.

The new generation of football fans don’t understand the advantage of a power run offense and controlling the clock. So, Dak isn’t popular because he’s not a gunslinger. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, fans these days just want to see long bomb throws all day and don’t care if they go 0-16 while doing it.
:huh::huh::huh::huh::huh::huh::huh: :huh:

Dak's decline in popularity is because of his inaccuracy in the deep game and the lack of production he's had this season. I'm keeping it real there. And I'm someone who is all for Powerful Football, I think it can work in this league, because teams aren't build right now to defend it. And I've been on a seesaw with Dak, and am back at the point where I think he can be something. He doesn't have to be Romo, but he does have to keep defenses honest by throwing the occasional deep ball. Maybe Cooper will help turn things around. Either way, looks like Jerry has made up his mind and we'll get at least one more season of Dak, so I'm willing to give him not just this season but next to develop, well since we are not drafting a QB replacement in this upcomming draft anyway. Also, romo was a gunslinger and unpopular with just as many fans at points in his career as Dak is now. It doesn't matter who the quarterback is in Dallas, if they don't win playoff games they have some unpopularity.

He's a tremendous young man. A great guy to have on any team. Could never dislike him, but really hope he can become a better passer.

All he needed was some better blocking and a competent receiver. You were this over and over and over again. Obviously you still dont get it.

289 yards passing 2 TD's and another rushing TD on a play only a few QB's in the NFL could make. Yah, he sucks. LOL

Cant throw the ball. :lmao2::lmao:

Makes you look foolish. "Dak has regressed"

Wrong again.

The majority of casual football fans dont understand football, or the QB position. Most morons think you can just go out and find Tom Brady. OR that Tom Brady does it all on his own. Or they think that Brady doesnt throw picks or overthrow receivers.

Others actually think that rookie QB's get worse as they gain more experience.

You do realize that Dak is not a Rookie QB, right?

? Without the long runs by Cooper Dak was 21/29 for 189. His issues are poor pocket presence, inability to anticipate routes and accuracy. Dak takes more sacks than a vending machine takes quarters.

fans arent stupid. Some in here have watched Aikman (maybe even Staubauch) and then Romo. Those were elite passers with clean, accurate & timely throws. Dak for past 12 games was ranked #26 QB. This isn't difficult to dissect why some aren't all in Dak. The good news is Dak still has 1 1/2 year to win most over.

He's got one and half years to win you over. I'd cut him after the season. I'd cut him now if we didn't trade away the first round pick. Let's win as many games as we can to lower the draft pick and then move on in search of a QB with talent in the offseason. Maybe stash some drugs in his locker and try to frame him on a felony.

I do see an uptick in his production with this winning streak, but I think they should probably hold off on the bust for Canton. Let's get the Division crown first.

You're trying to discredit others football knowledge then in the same post you try to discredit Tom Brady? Ironic.

Exposed, and no one said Tom Brady never threw a pick but he's widely regarded as the GOAT and for good reason. I hate him as a fan but I give credit where credit is due.

I'm just a fan of quarterback who can pass the ball well. I think Dak is an average QB if he gets enough help. But we should continue drafting, grooming other QB's as well. Dak is not a prolific passer but a decent game manager who can use his big frame and legs to help make up for lack of arm talent.

LOL....any other excuses? He sure looked like he had accuracy throwing in between 3 DB's on that 90 yard TD to Cooper. Great anticipation as well.

How did you like his pocket presence on that TD run? Did he cause a sack there or did he avoid one?

When Dak has a bad game it everyone right to bash him. But you sound dumb coming on here now.

If Dak leads the team to a victory against the Saints, and by leads we mean is a reason why the team wins instead of despite of, then he is legit. If dak can look like he did in 2016, now, then I'll be all happy, because it means that he has overcome the game planning that defensive coordinators have come up with against him.

There's a fine line between trying to be funny and just being totally stupid. You're way over that line here. Reported.
