Dak Is Clutch mega thread *merged*

Dak is slowly rebuilding my confidence in him. The second half of the game his rebuilding confidence really showed. He still needs to learn to throw the ball away, but he's trusting himself more to make those harder throws.

It's helping that the OC is finally changing things up. They actually ran a pick play. I was stunned. I'd still like to see Dak look downfield a little more, but a lot of that might be on the line failing to protect for long enough.

Better play calling and a real weapon. QB's need these things.

The Eagles were right. The Cowboys always choke. Not anymore. Take out Romo and Dez and insert Dak and Cooper. The narrative has changed. Dak is the opposite of Romo.

I’ve been saying for weeks that defenses are giving him these basics looks of only single safety help, press coverage and he has the outside routes all day and he should be making defenses pay from the get go.

Not complicated. Saints went more zone second half and he scrubbed.

Any QB in the NFL would make those plays.

He's got to get his timing down with Gallup....or tavon maybe

Dak was not good. I dont care what anyone says. Carson wentz was crap too. @Risen Star should feel foolish.

i don’t dislike dak. heck, i love his story, his attitude, and his athleticism. i love the things he does well.

but i don’t believe in him. not when he keeps taking sacks and coughing up fumbles. not when he keeps overthrowing open receivers, or throwing behind them. not when he waits too long to throw the ball, giving defenders a chance to make a play on the ball.

these aren’t new flaws. he should have improved by now. i don’t know that he can’t overcome them, and i don’t know that he won’t.

but until he does, dak remains the weak link on an offense that includes one of the top running backs in the league, a legitimate number one wide receiver, an offensive line that is better than average even with its injury issues, and enough complimentary pieces to be dangerous.

Despite his flaws, he’s got ice water in his veins. A cold blooded killer.

He is clutch because he and his coaches get themselves in clutch situations to often. Bad play calling, turnovers, and inconsistency are not the way to get in winning situations.

Dak needs improve his accuracy, ball security, get a new QB coach, OC and HC.
